While there was plenty of space to run around for dogs. There was also a lot of space for dog waste. The instructions on the welcome board at the opening clearly states that picking up after your dog is mandatory. Why have an animal if you can't handle the responsibility that comes with it?. We basically walked around the park and left as the amount of waste was just nasty.

There is water available in buckets which is very very nice of someone to do! No natural water like is in the picture, that was disappointing on a hot day

The only dog park I will take my dog. People are friendly and allow their dogs to play like dogs!

I like this place.  I like that there's some walking area around the permiter to keep my lazy dogs, as well as myself, moving.  The fact that there's no fence (and really there is a small barbed wire one encircling much of the park) shouldn't be an issue at all.  The park is way off the road except for the entrance, and like others have said if you're bringing your dogs to an off leash park there should be at least fairly good voice control and supervision in place.  Parking lot is a little weird (narrow- I can see how it becomes a cluster to get out of there when it's busy).  I wish it connected somehow to the hiking path just next door to it.
