Rocky River High School is a high school in Mint Hill, North Carolina; a suburb of Charlotte. It opened for the first time in the fall of 2010. Its original principal was Mark Nixon, the former principal of East Mecklenburg High School, who was replaced in 2012 by Brandy Nelson.

Rocky River is a fantastic school if you actually participate in activities. Yes, the school has had it's problems in the past but, our current principle works very hard to keep us all in check. The school spirit here is great, and I've made great memories here.

It's an interesting school! The school is clean, but is always a work in progress.  The faculty that I've come in contact with have always treated me with much respect.

I only felt like myself in certain classes because everyone was so judgemental. Fights every week to the point that the school had to babysit you throughout the whole year.
