Rocoto is a small deli/restaurant which sells Peruvian food and goodies. The food is delicious. The place itself isn't pretty, but it's what the owner meant it to be - A Deli. A place where you order delicious Peruvian take out for breakfast lunch dinner and anytime cravings. I order from here very often while I'm at work, we do pick up and enjoy the food in the office therefore we don't mind the appearance of the deli. The servers here are very nice, specially Mayra, she's a sweet heart.

owner,please put garlic in your rice and soups...and chicha is not sweet enough...

This food is so amazing!!! I ordered A bistec from Anita a cook and she made it incredibly good. Being that it’s a small place the waitresses are always willing to help you in any situation and any mistakes are cleared up easily with the a perfect rationality. Only wish it could have more branches because this stuff is good!

I absolutely love the food here!! It is so tasty, has lots of flavor!! My favorite it Tallarines Verde com Biste, arroz chaufa, tallarines saltado de pollo and the ceviche.. they are all so good!! I love that GrubHub can deliver to Tarrytown.. :

Rocotos is subpar, there’s other better Peruvian food found in westchester, they might be cheap but it’s not worth it trust me. I was also especting an aji sauce green sauce and got some white sauce which I’ve never seen before. Aside from that the portions of protein is ridiculously small.

Me and my co workers on 8/12/2020 ordered food for pickup from this place. We asked for cups for the 2 liter soda . We were given USED! DIRTY CUPS!. They smelled like dirty toilet water . During a PANDEMIC  this place should be closed down ! I have pictures of the cups. I then called in to speak to a Manager . The women on the phone told me there was no manager available and hung up the phone . I then called back 3 times and they didn't pick up. !.

My Job ordered food from this dirty place and they gave us dirty smelly used cups !. In a  pandemic... I took a sip out the cup and it smelled horrible and I almost through up. I haven't been feeling healthy since then this was on 8/12/2020 don't got here!.

The food is very good, however I do NOT recommend using them for catering. They don't seem to be too familiar with how to calculate a head count.  I had a party of 30 people.  I spoke with them 4 times beforehand and even went there the day before picking up the food as I was nervous having never used them before.  I also had a fluent Spanish speaking relative call to make sure they understood.  Well, despite all my efforts they sent food enough for 15 people.  When we got home with it and realized it wasn't enough, we immediately called back to order a duplicate to cover my 30 guests.  They told us it would take 30 mins.  So, my husband went back then and they said we never placed the 2nd order, so he had to sit there and wait.  At this point 1/2 of our guests had been waiting an extra hour to eat.  Again, food is great but wouldn't use them for large orders.

Excellent spot to go very friendly I had a problem and they took him and helped me with my problem then they served me instantly I had no problems they offered me more coffee and it was very friendly only situation felt very comfortable in there and I recommend anybody to book once the preference or any kind of meal go there they are very kind and considerate people

Jalea and Cevichè are incredible. The Lomo Salteao is superb The authentic Peruvian drink, Chicha Morada, is as real as it gets...excellent!!! Priscilla is the best waitress ever always at your beckoning call
