We have always stayed here when visiting our son at college.   The owners have been great with prices and accommodating our arrival times.  Now we are excited to stay in the new rooms as well.  I got a chance to stay in one of the few rooms that were open at the end of August and I loved it.  Fridge, TV, hairdryer, everything was new and good quality. VERY spacious, great bed, nice bathroom touches.  I like the added hallway outside the room to keep the chill out in the winter!  We like the fact that we can do Ithaca all day then be just slightly outside the hub bub to sleep at night. We plan on bringing the family up for a hockey game later this fall and even asking about far future reservations for graduation.

Place has potential. Ithaca hotels will always be busy thanks to the Cornell University. Cute renovation, good bed. They honored do not disturb sign and later checkout request, since I'm not a morning person. If they figure out the soundproofing between the hallway and rooms place is good for under hundred dollars a night.

Worst hotel experience of my life. Checked in hours after check in time to be told most of the hotel the electric was off due to the construction that I wasn't told about when booking. They switched my room and when I walked in the room was shaking from construction workers drilling and hammering on the other side of the wall, you could see them and they could see me through the inadequate blinds. Changed my room again to another under construction room and the workers were rude and loud as well. I awoke at between 7 and 8 am to loud drilling and hammering right outside of my new room, where the staff knew I was staying. The hotel office was under construction as well, no breakfast. The WiFi did not work for me in my room either. A giant waste of money. Terrible experience, I would never go to this specific hotel again. When I left feedback, I got a rude response from the general manager arguing about the facts of my stay. So I decided to leave a public, honest review of my experience. Stay away

i made a confirmed reservation in May for July 28 .   One week prior to my stay I received a phone call that the hotel is under renovation and wont reopen till mid august.  They had to know this way before.  Totally irresponsible.  i am on a bike trip and have no place to stay that night.
