From the Chaffee Zoo to Story Land or just celebrating a family event this place is ideal. The space is alive with wonders! There is the rides and duck to feed and even peddle boats! Its always a great day at Roeding Park!! Daytime is the only time to be here thou at night there are those with bad intent so be careful!

It's fun fun fun lots of cool choices lots of activities to adventure in. You must come and experience storyland. It is super neat.

Apart from having a zoo. Roeding Park is a national historical site and arboretum (A place where an extensive variety of woody plants are cultivated for scientific, educational, and ornamental purposes.) As serveyed in 2009

The Chaffee Zoo and Storyland/Playland is here and I remember almost all Easters spent in this Park.

Pros: Awesome Zoo Awesome mini theme park Beautiful lakes and playgrounds Tons of shade Tennis courts (lots) Tons of space Tons of ducks (fun!) Good number of Restrooms Cons: Homeless Homeless Homeless Trash trash trash Dogs dogs dogs! (Large scary ones the homeless brings) Dog feces everywhere Duck feces everywhere Red ants omg!!! Not a safe place (unless at zoo or park) Summary: I don't have a problem wth the homeless camping here. I do have a problem when they THREATEN you when you make even a millisecond of eye contact with them. Btw they like to let their dogs loose so that could be a risk for children. Btw take away the homeless, dog feces and trash is gone. When trash is gone, red ants is gone. When ants and homeless are gone, park is a lot safer. Sorry can't do much with duck feces. This could have been one of the best parks in Fresno county.
