It is nice and close to home. It has 3d and was not super crowded. Is it an iMax? No. It was nice all the same. I enjoyed myself but was not blown away.

Unless you're seeing a movie in the mega screen (the only decent seating and screen)  it's a waste of money...  The seats are old and uncomfortable.  The food is way over priced.  And the screens are small.  It's well worth the drive to sun prairie For the dream lounger experience.

This is what I expect from a small town theater . It's very quaint ! Once you walk in the door and see that the ticket counter is the same as the refreshment counter , you know it's going to be a different experience.  The actually rooms are small compared to the norm now, and the seating could be a lot better , as it's not very friendly to tall people . The selection of snacks leaves a lot to be desired and the pricing of them is a bit steep for what you actually get . BUT, seeing as how this is the only one in a few towns , they can pretty much charge what they want .

Ticket prices are almost on par with the super Marcus theaters , which is odd, but as I said , there's literally no other competition. I do like how some of the viewing rooms are down long narrow hallways! When I first went there I was surprised at how many rooms there were . Anyway , even with its negatives, it does have a bit of charm!
