ANTS IN MY CUP!!!!! Came to eat there and food was decent but not for the price. I went to get a refill on my cup I opened my lid and found out I have been sipping on ants!!! Manager said it was the cup but I was the only one affected? No they don't clean their soda machine and it really makes me wonder how well that kitchen is cleanedand how many bugs live in there?? Don't come here it's not worth it.
My husband and I ventured to "Roll Em Up Taquitos" in Amarillo last Saturday, eager to try their much-talked-about loaded corn on a stick, a tantalizing twist on the classic elotes. While we didn't get to sample their namesake taquitos, we certainly couldn't resist the allure of their corn creations. Roll Em Up Taquitos offers three elote options: original, loaded, and a classic buttered version. As we perused the menu, we did notice that the pricing for the taquitos themselves seemed a bit on the higher side. However, at just $3.98 for the loaded elote, we decided to give it a whirl. The portion size didn't disappoint, arriving as a substantial and tempting cob of corn. We dug in with enthusiasm, and our taste buds were treated to a satisfying blend of flavors. The loaded elote was indeed a delightful experience, with the combination of seasonings, cheeses, and toppings creating a symphony of taste. However, here's a word of caution: Patience is key! The elote was hotter than expected, and in our eagerness to savor its flavors, we ended up with a minor mishap – a couple of singed palates. So, let this be a friendly reminder to allow your elote a few minutes to cool down, or you might experience the same heat-induced surprise. Once we got past our initial impatience, we found ourselves thoroughly enjoying the elote. It was a flavorful and enjoyable treat, and when we were done, the cob was clean, and our appetites were satiated. In summary, "Roll Em Up Taquitos" offers a tasty twist on elotes that's worth a try. While the pricing for some items might raise an eyebrow, the loaded elote provides a flavorful experience that makes it a worthy indulgence. Just remember to exercise a bit of patience with its temperature, and you're in for a corny delight!
Waited a long time for this place to open! It did not disappoint! Highly recommend. I walked in to order. They got my order right I always check before I leave. Family of four - 2-5 packs was a light meal / large snack for all of us. We got the mild / corn tortilla/ shredded beef options. Highly recommend!
Severely disappointed. Waited for over an hour to have paid over priced food and not getting our order correct. Didn’t get our donuts or sides. Received 3 shredded cheese and no other sauces. When I questioned order before we left I was assured that they checked it and everything is in our “pack”. Didn’t get the right taquitos either. This is a real bummer because I’ve been waiting for this place to open for ages.
it’s decent, but not necessarily worth it. food is ok, but pretty overpriced for what you get, and the service is pretty poor. employees act annoyed and inconvenienced at all times, even when you’re just placing your order. drive through takes absolutely forever with no one inside or at the window to greet you, process a payment, or even give you your drink. the place has a lot of potential, but the service especially makes it disappointing.
The place is overpriced. The food is good but definitely not for the price. The employees are super rude. At least the man I dealt with today. I could barely hear them through the speaker and I thought they told me the price so I said thank you. I pulled forward. Sat and waited a moment. Guy opens the window and says “yeah you drove off without telling my employee if you wanted flour or corn tortillas” and I laughed at myself cause it was a dumb move of me and said sorry. He stood their stone cold face. Which immediately made me feel awkward. He then kept shutting and closing the window to ask me questions. He was acting annoyed with me as if I put them at such a big inconvenience. I won’t be going back. That place doesn’t get much business anyway. They’ll be out of business like all the previous places that were there, soon.
This Saturday night thought I would try this establishment. Service thought was OK ordering. Wait was more than five minutes drive thru. At the window employee working window took money, then went and packaged food with gloves on but never changed them. Then made drinks, gave order to us. Drinks over filled leaking soda over everything. Food in bag was packaged nicely. Food taste was very bland, and for the price of Thirty dollars and some cents wasn't worth it. Will not come back because cleanliness with gloves a lone is my number one. Price number two and three needs improved taste!
Went through the drive thru the young man was patient as I told him this was my 1st time there and wasnt sure how or what to order. I ordered three 2 packs and the drink i wanted for each. I also ordered a 2pack by its self and a cup of corn. We ate in the parking lot and realized we didn't get the donuts that came with the combo. I went back through the drive thru and spoke to the polite young man I had questions and he explained that I didn't SPECIFY I wanted combos. As I continued asking questions the manager came on the speaker and raised her voice at me. I was not asking for money back or product for free. She was rude and condescending. I decided to go inside. I said hey let's just have a conversation. She was rude yet again and asked me why would I expect a combo if I didn't specify which what she was insisting. The young man agreed with me that It was my first time there and I sounded a bit confused while ordering. I explained to Ms Alissa that in other restaurants the employee usually asks would you like the combo as a courtesy to make sure we get the best deal. Ms Alissa was again rude and condescending. I asked for a phone # I for corporate or her boss ahead said look it up online. I just left I've never been treated so rude or stupid from a fast food employee. I didn't raise my voice or cuss at all. The young man looked dumbfounded. Common curiosity is lacking by your manager. And you will definitely loose business treating people like idiots.
We were visiting Amarillo from Houston, and had stumbled on this place. New to this chain, we decided to order some food online and pick it up. Shared the pick 5 different Taquitos, and got a couple of the corn chicken, corn beef, and the flour beef. They were so so so so so amazing!!!! Wish we had one closer to home. Atmosphere was really cute inside the restaurant as well, and the lady who handed me my food gave me a smile and made me feel welcome! We will be recommending this place to our friends. P. S the "lit" sauce is super friggin good, highly recommend it! It is slightly spicy.
This was my first time visiting this establishment. It was quite empty at 6 pm, so the service was fast. However, my food was cold, which I didn't understand because I assumed that it was cooked to order. The tortilla chips were also cold and tasted burnt & the shredded beef taquitos were flavorless. I would give ZERO stars for the food if I could. Disappointing. I've wanted to try this place several months.
