I remember when Willy opened the first Rollover Beethoven's (which he outgrew quick)  I thought what a cool name for a  music store and I've never crossed a  better one  yet. Willy is a superb being kind and  intelligent. If you're interested in music of any kind check this  place out,  they are no joke.

Good for guitars, amps, drums, and student brass, woodwinds, and strings.  I don't know why I bother going there.  Their sheet music is meager past beginning stages of musicianship, their selection of accessories is too small for my taste, and they never have what I need.  It would be fine if they were more attentive and asked to open up their order book to help me find what I want, but that never happens.  The last time I went in, I wanted to get some trombone rotor linkage lubricant, and a non digital sounding metronome.  I knew exactly what I wanted, and would have placed an order with the dude at the front, had he asked if I wanted to order it. Seriously, it's in the book, I used to work at more than one music store in my life.  He looked at me like I was crazy, suggesting that in the world, there might be more than one type of metronome and oil!  I guess I'll continue to support non local businesses like Amazon or go down the hill to get what I need.

Honestly the best music shop I've ever been to. Everyone here is kind, lovely, super helpful and just wonderful people. I've been going here since I got my very first instrument and seldom will I go anywhere else.

Some people don't mind paying a little bit more. But if you and your assumptions disable you from ever informing a customer or giving them options. You are the one ignoring an opportunity, not the customer. 3 strikes and you are out. First they didn't have the strings they actually had. Gentleman was clearly more interested in unboxing instruments. Second I was looking for a "setup" not just to put strings on. I received a guitar that buzzed up and down the neck on multiple strings. Third I was told this okay little affinity wasn't worth the effort. Not to mention I was lied to about the saddle adjustments. They never moved and the relief was never adjusted. I was never offered any care and attention by this employee who wanted to get things done as quickly and cheeply as possible. I was not offered a redressing and the intonation was not checked. This is why I act like a dumb ass. These dudes are too easy to spot and bad apples really do spoil the whole bunch. Roll over some more Beethoven!

I recently bought a violin here and am very pleased with it but had a problem with one of the pegs tightening. Called this morning from 10 am (which is their advertised opening) until 12 to see if someone would be able to help me today and just kept getting a busy signal. Thinking someone would be there, I drove over to see a sign on the window that read "closed today for remodeling." Could that not have been put on their answering system? Do they have an answering system? Not cool.
