I had a terrible experience as an MBA student at this college. Some of the professors were great and some were awful, which is typical for any college(I've been to 8 colleges). The big issue lies within administration. Admins seem very nice and want you to come to them with any potential issues, but that's not the case. Reporting any issues will only create more problems for you. Rollins was the most political environment I've ever encountered. Go to UCF.

A good community of students. Ample opportunities for volunteering and service. Beautiful campus. Good scholarship/financial aid.

I went to this school and in my opinion, you should save your money and go to a community college. It will be cheaper and the teachers are actually better.

I was a final candidate for the Head Sailing Coach position. Was flown in, fed, put up in a nice flat, was given everything but booze and a girl. Had a interview and decent trip. They never called me back to tell me I didn't get the job. Just silence.I had to call them back and ask them what's going on. What's that about? This is even after they checked and told a few of my references that I was on the short list. Interviewed with Paul Giannotti in Athletics. Very aloof to everything going on around him ESPECIALLY Sailing Team and the program's development. I don't know why or how Paul was left in charge of the team's oversight. He has no experience in Sailing, Racing or Development. I am a pro sailor and coach that has many many many praises and years of experience, this is my whole life's work, good luck Paul, you know more than all of us. And get this: he has all final say in matters of the Sailing Team. YIKES! Overall the college campus and kids I interacted with were very nice. Staff on the other hand came off as "we are better than you" and "your s!*t stinks so you can't work here." Everyone I interviewed with seemed to have an agenda and I wasn't a part of that. Way to make a top candidate feel wanted. It was Rollins that paid to fly me in and put me up, figured they would want to make me feel all warm and fuzzy, right? Something else. I was told that the new president of the college was an avid sailor and that this position would have some interactions with him. Well I never had a chance to meet the guy, if I did, you bet I would have told him the honest state of his program and the changes I could have brought to make Rollins a nationally respected waterfront. Instead of the joke state that it currently is in. It bewilders me how you can have a national championship ski team and a unknown/unranked sailing program using the same waterfront facilities. ROLLINS COLLEGE: it is about the kids not your egos. Makes sense now why I don't work for them. They have a google rating of 3 stars, and I am only 5 star material. lol Thank you God, I didn't get the job; I'm much better off in my current role. Whoever takes the job good luck and Godspeed! Rollins College should also make it a point hire a few more crazy professors with distorted political views too. (that's called sarcasm)

The reviews you'll see below, trashing an exceptional, world class college over one single "allegedly" bad instructor is not cool. One single group of (most likely with no connection to Rollins)so called "Christians" literally ganging up on this college and trashing it is very unChristianlike behavior by the way. This is how Nazis used to operate not Christ. Whoever is reading this: These one star ratings orchestrated by one vindictive group are all in the last few weeks and are totally meaningless. If you are open minded and intelligent enough to ignore them it would be more than 4.5 stars which this college rightfully deserves.
