I can’t compliment this establishment enough! From beginning to end we were catered to. Bianca assisted us in securing a section right in front of the most beautiful view of NYC! The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, we got salmon, crab cakes, cauliflower and the Caesar salad, all delicious! Drinks were good, we got bottle service and that was a nice touch to the already beautiful and elegant night we were having and the music was also on point! The ambience us just breathtaking! I will be returning and recommending to all family and friends
We waited a while but it was worth it, food and atmosphere were great. Despite the foggy weather conditions, I enjoyed the New York views across the Hudson River. It was crowded enough and the music was good. Staff were really courteous.Food: 5/5
I've visited this place numerous times, and it never fails to captivate me. The rooftop open bar and restaurant offer an astonishing view of New York City. The drinks are exceptional, and the french fries are a definite highlight. It's undoubtedly one of the finest rooftop spots to experience the NYC skyline, especially from the vantage point in Jersey City. The view is simply breathtaking, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable urban experience.
Came here for my husbands bday to cap off the night and actually had a good experience. We made reservations for 6:15pm which was a good time for the month of September as sunset is a little earlier by now. We were still able to enjoy the terrace while there was some natural light and a good view of NYC. Eventually the place got lively and crowded but we had a good spot a little away from the crowd who usually sits by the front and by the firepit. service was good and we actually enjoyed the fries and the hummus. The fries had a really good dipping sauce and was fried so well we couldnt stop eating it lol the hummus had a bit of spiciness but was also good nonetheless. We didnt really drink much so cant say a lot about that part. parking can be tough though and may be a little bit of a walk if you cant find street parking. But anyway if youre just here for nice few eats and the view, this spot is one great option to have that.
My cousin brought me here for some local beer and some burgers. Miss Christine took good care of us. The view across the water was magnificent!!! Will bring my wife and daughter here next time we are in the area!!!Food: 5/5
Just found my new fave hot spot! Rooftop Exchange brings the energy from their amazing skyline views to their chill vibey ambience. It’s a whole experience. Also enjoyed the sangria & drinking options and a very tasty menu. Recommend the wings , sliders and Fries! You will def catch me here again, see you in the VIP CORNER SECTION. Haha!
As a Google Local Guide, my recommendation is to avoid this place because if it wasn’t for the view, this venue would receive 0 stars from me. The bartenders are poorly trained and lacking in both skill for their craft and customer service. An order for an Old Fashioned seemed to be an impossible task and when I politely asked for the drink to be remade, the bartender grew hostile, argued, then ignored me for the rest of the evening. Manager also seemed clueless on how an Old Fashioned is made, how to manage unhappy customers, and how to manage unruly employees. The impression was unprofessional. In addition, there is a balcony that goes all around the venue. Several planks in the balcony floor are not only wobbly but falling in causing a dangerous hazard. Towards the end of the evening, the same bartender in question who refused to remake my drink began slamming things around like a petty child in an attempt to intimidate my party into leaving. Another employee seemed unable to read the room when fireworks were randomly set off in the distance, as patrons walked over to view them, she began closing the doors to the balcony at that exact moment. When patrons objected, she kept saying we could just look through the glass. Nothing about this place made sense. It’s high end on the price and ice, but a very trashy experience. No legal parking anywhere near the area and kitchen closes at 11. Do not recommend going there unless you enjoy disappointment and rude service.
The only compliment I can give this establishment is that they have a beautiful view of the NYC skyline! Their service, ONCE AGAIN is terrible! I went years ago and vowed never to return because of it but had friends in town and wanted to give it one more shot… nonetheless, nothing has changed. The gentleman that served us at the bar was very rude & skimped on our drinks. If sarcasm is his thing, he might need a lesson on it or altogether stay away from it. The service was slow and it was far from busy. Upon trying to close out, we waited over 10 minutes while he attended other people instead of simply closing our bill out. I hope management educates their staff on customer service, time management, and people skills! And yes, we still tipped. I normally don’t write reviews but I was compelled to do because their service is that much in need of improvement. Picture below shows my friend was missing a third of her drink. Parking: Better off ubering it or taking the train there.
We were excited to dine and to experience the view. The view was breathtaking and the night sky was perfect. But the food was not good at all, I ordered the salmon and it was too dry. The drinks were o.k. The service at The Terrace Lounge was bad. They didn’t pay attention to us or if we needed any more drinks, etc. I would go again for the rooftop bar and for the view, but not the restaurant.
Everything was good, nothing exceptional except the views. But definitely a great spot to soak in the sun and the skyline. Drinks are pretty light, I’m a lightweight and could finish in a couple sips with all the ice, but they are perfect for a hot day.Food: 3/5
