Made 715 reservations on open table, arrived like 10 mins early, place was packed but we were seated promptly. Our server was on point and knew all the specials, all the staff were very pleasant from start to finish. They started off our dining experience with fresh baked garlic butter rolls that were very tasty. The food was phenomenal, we ordered the Lobster Got as appetizer, along with a filet mignon, new york strip, and 2 sides one the baked macaroni and cheese and the other grilled asparagus. For dessert we shared a blueberry cheesecake, again tasted delicious. Also the steak was cooked to perfection I like mine medium rare. No complaints but I will say next time I won't be sitting near a window in the winter it was pretty cold and drafty, as well as I'd prefer a booth the tables are not very big. Parking: Parking is a little tight, esp during dinner with lots of guests.
Have gone to rosebud downtown multiple times and have always had a great experience. The new Munster location leaves much to be desired. Stopped in for dinner before a show was seated at 5 pm ordered a manhattan which was well made. Placed appetizer order at 515 and because time was somewhat limited asked our server if entrees can be ordered at same time . She replied yes. I ordered another Manhattan which was NOT well made and had an abundance of vermouth in it which made it unenjoyable. We got our appetizers about 530 and finished them at 545. 620 came around an hour after ordering our dinner and our entrees 2 steaks and chicken Parmesan were no where to be found. I asked the server whether it’s typical for an entree to take one hour. She replied that she didn’t order the entrees when I requested but instead I assume is usual practice ordered them AFTER we finished our appetizers at 551 per her order ticket. She scurried to the kitchen and brought dinner out which unfortunately we were not able To eat in the restaurant as we had a show to go to. We did at least get to see our plated dinner which looked nice enough but requested the food be boxed so we can leave and not miss our show. Manager offered free desserts to go but that would’ve only delayed our departure so we politely declined. In summary I hope this rosebud trends in the right direction works on its communication and attentiveness to customers and is able To achieve consistent cocktail making . When paying an average of 100 pp good service should be expected.
I have been waiting to review Rosebud Steakhouse in Munster since it opened in October of 2022. I am saying it right now....No more trips to Chicago for Rosebud folks, go to Munster Indiana instead trust me! The atmosphere doesnt disappoint and the serving staff is the main reason for my review! Friendly and super knowledgable for everything on the menu! Our server Nick went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Over the years I have entertained clients at Rosebud but this dinner was special for my wife and I. Our server Nick and his staff showed true professionalism for our entire meal. Great conversation and Nick's recommedations were exactly what we were looking for. To start we had a French Martini for my wife and I had glass of the chardonnay. Listen up people! Take advantage of the appetizers! Shrimp cocktail was super fresh with wonderful presentation. We also had a wedge salad that was just perfect! For the main course we decided to share a Del Monico steak. Our servers recommendation for the brussels sprouts just made our day, thats right brussel sprouts! I specifically saved room for dessert. My friends have been head over heels for the desserts at Rosebud. The butter cake that Nick suggested was beyond delicious. My wife had the carrot cake, fantastic! All in all, I really recommend Rosebud in Munster because they treat you like family. The staff was just so friendly and full of great conversation! Thanks again Nick for making a special night a bit more special for my wife and I. We will be coming back very soon with family. Great experience!
Wanted to enjoy an evening out with a nice steak dinner…we were sat right away with no reservation on a Sunday about 4:30pm. Initially customer service was great as our waitress greeted us and took our order. While waiting for the food to be prepared the staff brought complimentary rolls to the table. The rolls looked to be a bit over cooked as though someone was a little to happy to play with a torch in attempt to make them more golden, which they were not quite black but very close. By the photo you can clearly see the steak is over cooked as well, not the medium steak I expected. When the food was plated that was the last time we saw our waitress or anyone checked on us until about 1hour later when we asked for the check. The manager did remove the steak from the bill, but that really did nothing to appease my appetite which was still graving a well cooked steak. Appetizers mashed potatoes, and cauliflower were on point but the asparagus was a bit charred more than usual as well. Not sure I could recommend this place after this 1st impression when they are so many other amazing steak houses not far from here.
Recently visited this Rosebud location for Valentine’s Day dinner with my better half. We were both very satisfied with our visit. Our cocktails were made to perfection. Our food, starting from the complimentary rolls, to the appetizer, main course & dessert, we’re all cooked & presented beautifully. Jam packed with flavor throughout. We ordered the 12oz filet, and sea bass. Both were mouth watering deliciousness! Our server Ryan was delightful, Knowledgeable and made an excellent recommendation pertaining to my filet. Highly recommend visiting this location. If you leave unsatisfied, you’re likely just the type of person that’s impossible to please. Having worked many years in this industry myself, I can say they seem to be doing things right!
Service was phenomenal. Food was tasty. Definitely will be back. Just make sure you tell them to add a bit of salt to your steak when they are cooking it.Food: 5/5
I have been to the finest Steakhouses around the country, this one did not disappoint. The server was excellent, knowledgeable and very polite. The food was nothing short of amazing with outstanding presentation. I had the lamb Chops and a Carrot cake that ruined my chances of ever liking any other Carrot cake around. Very pleased that NW Indiana finally has a high class Steakhouse.
Went to Rosebud to celebrate my 60th Birthday with family & friends. What a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious as was the espresso martini! With a very professional & kind server Geena. We will be definitely be back for another fabulous dinner.

Do not waste your money. We were a party of 5. Celebrating a special occasion. I had ordered the filet medallions medium, they came raw, not rare, raw! My Mom’s food also come raw. Our drinks came out for three of us. The other two people in our party were not even asked what they wanted something to drink. My Mom never received a refill on her coffee or asked if she wanted more. We were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. When they attempted to fix our raw food. My husband was very specific and asked if we would be getting new food or the same food back. They stated new food. This was not the case they just recooked their mistakes. The food came back not even looking the same. The sauces did not look appetizing anymore. The manager came out and insisted we ordered our steaks rare, arguing and making faces, rolled his eyes. This was not the case we ordered them medium. I ended up not even eating my steak. Someone in our party ordered a coffee and Sambuca. He received the coffee and the Sambuca never came out. When our bill came we asked the waiter if we were charged for the Sambuca and he said no with no apology for missing it. Then the waiter continued to argue with my friend. I will never go back here. Poor management and so much more wrong.
