This 17 acre park, located at the corner of Rosewood St. and 18th Avenue, went through an extensive upgrade in late 2015 and early 2016. Bathroom facilities have been added and they will be open during the park’s busier times throughout the year. All of the lighting has been upgraded for efficiency as well as security. There has been a large new play area added for younger park visitors. The most notable addition is the new mini splash pad that will be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. For those looking to get a little exercise, there is a disc golf course that loops around the outside of the property, and a full size soccer field located in the adjacent Soccer Bowl.
