I love this company. I have a money pit house, haha. Roy's helps me keep it up and running. So far, they have worked on  my heating, electrical, and plumbing. Every tech is knowledgeable and nice. The office staff is great.  Edited to add: they are never condescending when they explain or diagnose problems! A refreshing change from many companies I've had out to the house

My AC went out over the summer and I called Roy's. They sent someone out to investigate. The technician they sent was very polite and professional but also admitted he was relatively new to his role. He determined that my compressor was shot and that I would need a new compressor or likely a whole new system, but he also said I had insufficient returns to support an AC and said a new system with my duct work would fail almost immediately even though my current system was about 20 years old. His only answer for this was "they don't make them like they used to." He said his boss would have to come out and give me an estimate for duct work as they would not even touch my job without new duct work. He scheduled this for several days away despite the fact that we were sweltering with temps in our home well above 80. He said the new unit would be at least $4000 and that was before the duct work for which the technician could not offer an estimate. Since I had to wait anyway, I called another local heating/cooling place that was recommended by our local community group. They came out promptly, tested the compressor and found that it was totally fine and found the only problem we had was a blown capacitor. He also looked at our returns and found several more that the Roy's technician had missed and said our duct work was fine, and even if it wasn't, it wouldn't cause a system to fail, just run less efficiently. The competitor had our AC back up and running like new same day and for less than $200. I promptly cancelled the duct work estimate with Roy's and told the receptionist that their technician had misdiagnosed my problem and that a competitor had fixed it. Roy's never reached back out to me after that.

Well I want to first Start off to say that Roy's company the staff. The workers very beautiful inside out. Never had a problem with any of the workers. I I've been with Roy's for 5 years I also want to thank Nick Fyvie for explaining everything to me about the Stationary sink in my basement and the piping underneath he fixed it and said if I have any questions  and to call us if you have any troubles

We had 2 different service technicians come to our house yesterday, one for plumbing and one for boiler. Both technicians were amazing. We appreciate the fact that the plumbing technician was able to repair our shower for less than was quoted. We appreciated his honesty in not charging us for materials not used in the repair. The boiler technician was personable and knowledgeable about our boiler. We have always experienced professional and kind service technicians from Roy’s. The company is honest and timely. We will be customers for life.

A fantastic experience with Roy's.   When they knew the service tech wasn't going to be able to make it at the original time, I was contacted and informed about the delay and given the new estimated arrival time.   When Jeff arrived the first thing he did was apologize for the delay.   He then examined the furnace and determined what needed to be done.   I can't say enough good things about Jeff... friendly and very knowledgeable!   He took the time to explain everything he was doing as he worked on my furnace.   Afterward he thanked me for choosing Roy's, leaving me with a great feeling about my decision to call Roy's for service!

I wanted you to know that I was extremely pleased with the quality of service your company provided. Jeff is awesome! I sincerely appreciated his responsiveness and the way he conducts business. I have already recommended your company to others because how satisfied I was with Jeff's service. I look forward to doing business with Jeff and his team for years to come.
