The prices are good for gas. The store is pretty new, (as of 12/2017), so it's nice inside. The food is hit or miss. I hear how great it is but when I when to try it, It was old, greasy, and tasted like the grease needed to be changed. The staff are usually friendly, but sometimes you get someone who is having a bad day. My biggest complaint and the reason I don't go out of my way to go here is the smell. It smells like fried chicken (great, right?) , and you will smell like fried chicken, and your hair, and your coat, your clothes, and car. It sucks you have to air out all your clothes and take a shower if you step foot in the place.

I use to go to this particular Royal Farms 2-3 times a day. This particular one was very clean, food was always fresh, all the employees were very nice and respectful. I slowly stopped going in there once I saw more and more of the employees were leaving and new employees were coming. They weren't as nice, always seemed to have a attitude, like they hate their job, then give the customers attitudes. Their chicken went downhill, they never have lids or straws out, i would have to look in the cabinet myself, and still none. Trash is already full, and the counters where the fountain drinks and all is, always has spilled drinks on it, like they never clean. Just nasty.

I think Royal Farms is a great addition to Kirkwood Highway, a major road that is lacking in Wawa or any other major convenience store chain. This Royal Farms is at the corner of Kirkwood Highway and Duncan Road. One entrance is on westbound Kirkwood Highway. If you're on eastbound Kirkwood Highway, make a left turn onto Duncan Road and enter from there. The format of this store is the same as other Royal Farms in the chain. There is a gas pump pavilion in front of the store. Inside the store, they have a counter display for fried chicken. However, they also make chicken sandwiches and a number of other items, which you order on a touchscreen display. The rest of the store is stocked with standard convenience store items, mostly snacks and drinks. I would go to this store mostly for gas, which is comparatively inexpensive compared to the rest of New Castle County, especially if you factor in the 10 cents/gallon reward card discount. Food preparation at this store can be rather slow, especially if the store is busy. Also the cashier seems a tad surly, although that can depend on who's working the front registers at the time.

Good gas prices. We dont suggest eatng here & if you choose to-do so beware of waiting rather long for food, you may want to bring food from home. Parking lot is not attended to & overflowing with trash. If you want food, we suggest you get ready to loose a half hour or so of your time.

I wish I had nice things to say about this store, but the employees are rude, do not even try to accommodate a customer's requests and have no problem using profanity in front of customers. I asked for mac and cheese, but was given mashed potatoes with no gravy and little dark brown chunks of something I can't identify in it. The chicken is dry and very salty.
