I generally like stopping at Royal Farms. I also think their chicken is very good. But this Royal Farms in Greenwood ... I discovered that they clean the sinks and bathroom vanity counters with the SAME FLOOR MOP that they clean the bathroom floors with! so don't touch anything in there, it's disgusting.

Stayed overnight here. Friendly staff. Womens bathroom could use a very good scrubbing and some fly strips. Store was nice, food was good. In the morning at 6am the fresh tea was bad.

The bathrooms were very dirty . It’s smelled like bad chicken. The cashiers were slow. There was a beggar in the parking lot. Overall bad experience.

Good quality Royal Farms store. Decent fried chicken and good sandwiches. Good service.

Royal Farms is one of several gas station / convenience store chains in this region. The one in Greenwood is one of their larger locations because it has a truck service area on the same lot. Anyway, Royal Farms advertises their fried chicken a lot, so one evening, I decided to try it. Service at this Royal Farms is a bit lacking. There was a long line of customers but only one cashier on duty. Unlike some Wawa stores, there wasn't a separate line here for cigarette customers, which was not ideal because that seemed to take the most time. Once I paid up, I went to the order pick-up counter. The lady behind the counter stood staring into the distance with a glazed look on her face for quite a while before turning and asking if I had gotten something. This Royal Farms location has a small dining area but it appears no one cleans up here because all the tables were covered in grease and food remnants. I found out why though. The packaging for the fried chicken is clearly inadequate. The grease from the fried chicken soaks through the cardboard box and within a few minutes, everything falls through the bottom of the box. I thought the chicken itself was okay but the breading was a bit too salty.
