Same price but the PORTIONS! Really dissatisfied with the quantity of food. Small size curries and shallow containers! Enough for two not the usual for 4 people. Food might be good but really upset about not having enough food.
Go to the other locations! Food and service used to be great, but now the quality has declined. There was one a bug in our dish and the best they would do was give us $5 off. The service is not great at all. The food is still decent the other times we have gone out ordered take out.Food: 3/5
Fabulous food!! This is a hidden gem in Nassau county. Great fusion of Chinese, Japanese, Thai food. My favorite dishes are the basil prawns, Mongolian beef, General Tsao chicken, pad Thai. For appetizers get the spicy wings that come with the ginger lemongrass dressing. To die for!! Steamed mom's are great and their soups are fantastic. Best hot and sour soup we've had.
The worst restaurant i have been too. I reached at the restaurant at 08:36, asked them for a seating for 4, and they said they closed,There were people sitting and dinning in and i had been asked to take out. We always visit tangra at queens blvd and there food is amazing, i expected the same as the franchise is the same, but the food is no where near. i ordered chicken lollypop, chicken showmen and fish fry . it was so bad that i thrower up, i still have the food with me and haven't had nothing, I am going to go there back and returning the food. and will request the food inspector to inspect there kitchen. It costed me $50.00.
Very nice ambiance and great service. The staff was welcoming and the food was worth it. Basil prawns, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup highly recommended.
Royal Tangra Masala is an excellent Asian fusion restaurant. Dining in pre-pandemic was a comfortable and relaxing experience. Only take-out available for now. All dishes freshly prepared and tasty. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef with stir fry vegetables. Please try it! Yuna the owner is always very welcoming and super hospitable. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite Asian fusion restaurant is tangra masala and I feel that no one can beat them. I tried all their other locations except this one until today. Boy was the taste of the dishes different! I really disliked their lolipop chicken batter with the sauce. They actually ended up giving a whole wing and I felt the chef was feeling too lazy to make it into a lollipop? I mean I was the only customer there so... Confused here. The chicken corn soup sucked and I was shocked the most when I saw the tangra masala fried rice. Taste was horrible, the shrimp's smell was so strong & disgusting! What happened to the rice? The rice was so different from the other two restaurants! I just ended up having two bites from it and brought it back home in hopes of someone else liking it. I never went through so much negativities when it came to Tangra masala restaurants until today. I feel that people around LI giving it amazing reviews haven't tried the other ones yet. I think I'll stick to my favorite at Grand ave no matter how far it is from me. They are the best!
Overall= could be better. Rice was bland and the manchurian gravy has a sour aftertaste. Chicken was well cooked. Understaffed, but understandable due to labor shortage. Overpriced for quality and quantity.
Good food, but has a small quantity and is overpriced.
Wish there was negative rating. Such a bad experience. Awful food. Appetizers were double fried. U could smell oil from the food. Will never ever go back. Pls save ur money and never go there! Tangra masala in queens is the best. Royal tangra masala is not even close to what they serve!
