Story

Ruesch Companies LLC was founded in 2011 by Shane and Michaela Ruesch. Both Shane and Michaela were born and raised in the Wisconsin Rapids area, and both graduated from Lincoln High School in 2006. After high school Shane went to work for the family business, Ruesch Drywall. Immediately after graduating from LHS, Shane also started to pursue his career as a Real Estate Investor, by purchasing his first duplex at the age of 18. While Shane worked for the family business, Michaela attended UWSP and earned a Bachelors degree in teaching. In 2010 Shane and Michaela were married, and now have two handsome boys and a little girl!

After acquiring a few rental properties, Shane started to get into the business of “Flipping” houses. In 2008 Shane and his then business partner, Andy Edwards, purchased their first “Flip”. It was a large home in very poor condition. After 5 long months of renovation the home was completed, and then sold for a profit. Shane and Andy went on to successfully “Flip” 2 other properties together, before mutually deciding to go their separate ways. Since Shane has been on his own, he has successfully “Flipped” multiple properties.

Not only does Shane and Michaela Ruesch handle investment properties, but they also own a restaurant- Tropical Smoothie Café in Wisconsin Rapids, since 2010. They also own self-storage units-Stuff It Storage LLC in Wisconsin Rapids, as well as sell brand new Rice Trailers at Ruesch Equipment LLC in Wisconsin Rapids.

In an effort to expand the business, Shane has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, while Michaela has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer, while also overseeing daily operations of Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Together they have also teamed up with longtime friend and Realtor Keith Wilkes. Keith will be assuming the role Ruesch Companies Agent. Since Ruesch Companies has continued to grow, the company has added Jason for Construction/Maintenance and
Amanda as Leasing & Marketing Manager for Ruesch Companies.

To date, Ruesch Companies LLC currently owns and manages over 170 rental properties consisting of duplexes, single family homes, and apartment complexes. Ruesch Companies is also still “Flipping” homes in and around the Wisconsin Rapids area. Ruesch Companies LLC prides itself on quality workmanship while always working with local talent.
