Yum!  We came here to grab a slice of cake for my wife's bday and we purchased three slices. All of them were creamy, moist, and super flavorful. We decided on a Red Velvet Cake, an Italian Creme, and a Birthday Cake flavor.  We tried this place on a whim and we will be back. The prices were very reasonable and the staff were very friendly.  We will be back!

This was my first time visiting, and it pains me to say this, but it wasn't for me. Let me say the customer service is absolutely top notch. I was welcomed as soon as I entered and they answered the questions I had. I got the vanilla, red velvet, and Gran Marnier cupcakes and the birthday cake slice. I loved the icing on the cupcakes but the cake portion did not taste good. The consistency was poor and it was very dense. Also, the cupcakes are really small for the price. The slice of cake did not have good flavor or icing. The sprinkles on it also tasted old.  Overall, the customer service is great and I would recommend this establishment for that sole reason. I just didn't like the product flavor or see the value with the price.

Look at the custom cakes i ordered from them. It looks professionally done. I am amazed how moist the cakes are even after being in the fridge overnight. I like all the flavors i tried so far: chocolate, strawberry, lemon, and italian cream cake. The sweetness level is just right.

I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing this place is. First I ordered the Baby Yoda cake & it turned out AMAZING. The kids & adults wanted a second piece. I also brought home some different flavor individual slices & it should be illegal. It is by far the best cake I’ve ever tasted. I drove back to Louisiana with all of it & it stayed perfect. This will be my go to place for all birthday cakes moving forward. Absolutely amazing!

I googled for the best cake factory near me. I got the hidden gem which’s with 4.9 ratings.  I drove down to the Rum cake factory in Plano. The one of associated speaks very politely and explains all the different cake options. If you want a fancy cake, they need more than one day to prepare the custom cake. But I requested to prepare a custom cake by end of the day and showed couple of templates. One of the rum cake factory associates explains the possibility of preparing a custom cake. They told me wait until 5:00 pm but I got a call from Rum cake factory by 3:30 pm saying your cake is ready. The cake is really fantastic and lovely for anniversary but the price is $130 for 2 lbs cake. The taste of the cake also really super good. Due to high price , I gave a 4 stars.

Gender reveal cupcakes were delicious! Inside frosting was inconspicuous so my husband and I had no clue until we took a bite. A little pricey but the turnaround was incredible at short notice. We will definitely keep this bakery in mind for future requests.

Friendly, great selection, and tasty baked goods. You can custom order a cake or just pop in for a slice or a cupcake. The cake was moist and the flavors were good. I liked how cheesey the frosting was on the red velvet.

One of best bakery I have recently been to. The art work is simply amazing and professional. Would highly recommend it for all sorts of parties/events. Just make sure you give a week ahead of notice Don’t rush like me. Lol

Just happened to be in the area and saw the rumcakes factory. It was my cousin's birthday a few days ago so we are having dinner and thought I will pick up a cake. Instead of lunch I ordered a few extra cupcakesfor my husband and.  just had one it was absolutely amazing it was the salted caramel . We had ordered rum cake from some other place which I don't even care to remember which was OK but this place Was absolutely amazing and fresh and I definitely recommend!! Heaven yummy!! Best!

First picture is one hour after I got the cake and 2nd picture is 3 hours after I got the cake. The weather is not even bad because it's spring and the cake is inside the house with AC. The cake collapsed on the other side. They didn't make it good. I'm not satisfied at all. We tried other bakery before and it's not like this.
