This is a great park! Parking on street and a parking lot. Paved and dirt trails. Posted signs to let you know what's allowed on the trails. Canoeing, swimming, biking, hiking, etc. Went for a day trip, definitely going back!

Great park for hiking and hidden gem for KAYAKING. With a little creativity you can make the paved trail a 5K (just walk out to the entrance sign and back). Never busy. Nice playground for kids. Lots of hiking in the shade. If you put a dolly under your canoe or kayak, you can park at the lower boat landing, roll your boat to the upper boat landing,  float down the Rum River for 90 minutes and be back at your car. Awesome!

Great place to walk, run, or bike. Has a boat landing and river access.  Nice play groud and group site.  But it gets very sketchy at night.

Close to home, beautiful place to get on the water. Nice campsite if you want to go that route (for canoeists only).

Nice area to go for a little hike next to the Rum River. They have horse trails & canoe campsites. The river is a fun one to go canoeing on if you're a beginner, offers some great views, sights & sounds of wildlife.
