"The Running Y Ranch Golf Course showcases the spectacular natural landscape of Oregon's beautiful unspoiled outback. Ambling along meadows and through restored wetlands on the front nine; you will play besides lakes, woodlands and into Payne Canyon on the back. The vision of "leave the land as it lies" played out well in the course design, and I consider it one of my best tracks. If you're in the area, it's well worth the visit." – Arnold Palmer

I only had lunch with a business partner and a prospective client. Lunch was pleasant. Service was rather slow at making sure water was filled and actually mine was never refilled but my guests had their Iced Teas refilled. I didn't ask as I shouldn't have had to. Big miss on service as water refills is a simple task. The wait staff was always pleasant and willing to help when asked. It was not a filled area either. They had about 4 other tables outside of mine. Atmosphere was great, place is fabulous and grand. Just need a little more attention to guests during the dining. Food was also very good. No complaints there. Thanks

The rooms are immaculate every single time! Amazing food at the Ruddy Duck restaurant. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna every day of our stay! We would have used the spa as well, but they were booked up. Next time we will plan ahead and schedule our spa treatments before we arrive.

It's a nice place to stay, especially if you have time to explore the whole "campus". The restaurant offers vegan, and veg food and even gluten free! It's in the middle of no where but it's a great get away.

For our experience, this property was not much better quality than a motel with expansive grounds and several other properties under one banner. The rooms are adequate, the bathroom is ugly and there are water stains on the ceiling. We were promised a terrace but did not get one. I'm guessing its a wood frame construction as you can hear every noise above and around. We heard people running back and forth in the hall upstairs all night. the door to access first floor rooms from the side is not secured nor locked at night and should be. The outdoor dining space is beautiful but we were attacked by flies the entire meal, might want to get that under control. The host at the restaurant seemed stressed and not particularly inviting or friendly. We won't be returning, it was totally overpriced, a motel is just as good as we didn't make use of the grounds anyway.

We spent two nights at the Running Y Resort on the way from Bend via Crater Lake to the Oregon Coast. We had a one bedroom villa with a full kitchen. The kitchen appliances were dated. The bed was very good. The balcony was pretty dirty and the furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. The location is nice. It is quiet, but also far away from stores, restaurants etc.. You have basically two on site choices for restaurants: Ruddy Duck (they were very slow the night we ate there) and Ponterosa Grill (inside more like a sports bar and a somewhat limited menu, but cheaper and good). Outside seating is both locations, Ruddy Duck is nicer. Since there are really no good options in the Klamath Falls area this place is most likely the best option you have and it won't disappoint.
