First time ever being in Rural King. They have a wide variety of things. They have really good prices on pet beds. They actually really good at marking clearance items down. Unlike some places that may take off a couple of dollars. I'll definitely go back!

The store has a huge selection of items, which is a plus, but shopping there isn't too good. It's hard to locate an associate if you need one, and it you can locate one, they know little about the products they sell. I actually would rate shopping at Walmart better than at Rural King. At least they greet you at Walmart. Checking out in a hurry? Think again. Long lines, only one register open. The music there is another strike against a pleasant shopping experience. If you enjoy listening to AC/DC, well then this is your store. But not everyone likes hard rock music, that's why other stores play more generic shopping music. It seems that this Rural King has potential - with better management.

Horrible customer service. Went to make a return & was told she couldn't do it right then so I left my return and came back 20 minutes to a line if 3 people waiting to return and no one to help. Management was called but no one showed up. This is not the first time I've had problems at this store. Went there yesterday & you could not push a buggy down the dog food aisle as bags & bags of dog food was laying in the aisle.

I love the store itself. The employees are lacking in personality and customer service. Good luck getting assistance at the gun counter if you are a female.

I did give a 3 star for quality and pricing, but since the moderators for their website denied my review (for whatever reason), I'll place it here where they can't decide what gets approved or denied. I ordered coffee for our office and shipping took over 3 weeks. Not the most convenient shipping time. When I called to inquire on my order, I sat on hold for over 20 minutes to be told that our order was shipped straight from manufacturing and could take up to a month. We literally have a rural king within 15 miles of our location. Disappointed in shipping time and that they denied my review.
