Ordered the grouper which tasted great, but came out cold. Overall, will definitely try one more time to see if the food comes out hot. Worth a visit.

This is an upscale steakhouse with an upscale steakhouse menu and upscale steakhouse prices.  I've always really enjoyed my meal and will continue to go back on special occasions.  The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, the restaurant is in a trailer park in a not-so-nice part of town.  Very odd.

I was in town visiting family and wanted a steak, so I googled and found The Rustler.  I placed a take-out order for two fillets.  When I arrived, the staff was very helpful and accommodating.  The inside decor is upscale and the atmosphere is great.  Now to the food.  I couldn't be happier with what I got.  The fillets were cooked to perfection and the loaded baked potato was the best I've ever had.  Even the salad was better than I was expecting.  This will definitely be on my steakhouse list for Meridian from now on.

A nice place and not at all what you would expect by the surrounding area. It is highly recommended for any special occasion and well priced for the amazing food prepared.
