Fantastic experience at this location. Waiter was attentive and makes top notch cocktails. The portion sizes were just right and we were able to finish everything we ordered. The fried Calamari is delicious and out price fixe entrees came out perfect.<b>Food</b>: 5/5
Was here with my husband for my birthday. Immediately we were greeted warmly for the occasion. Even decorated out table with some confetti. The food was so delectable. Not an ounce of anything went to waste. Anthony our server was super awesome and had good energy. We ordered the lobster bisque, crab cake, ribeye, salmon and shrimp with some asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Good to the last bite. Oh and the birthday banana bread cake was gone in sixty seconds.
The food was delicious as always! However, I took away 1 star because of the rude hostess. There are 2 entrances to the restaurant. We walked into the door which was inside the little shopping center. The first time I walked in to I just let them know I was here for my reservation and would be right back since I forgot my mask. When I walked back inside there was a different hostess I wish I had gotten her name who barked at us that we shouldn't have used that door and that we needed to walk to the other side to be helped. There was no sign on the door we used that said for us to use the other door which is why her attitude was uncalled for. This is not how people who are about to spend good money at your restaurant should be treated when they walk into the door. Luckily once we sat down our experience was better. Our waitress Balynda I believe her name was was very sweet and attentive! We were very happy with our food as well!
Our server/waiter Corey, was an excellent host… The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the main course… Michael & Stephanie made some great Apple martinis.. Whenever you consider dining in Garden City check them out! Thanks to their entire staff for a wonderful meal and their hospitality….
Amazing experience from service to food. Kathy our waitress/server was the best. She informed us about the portion sizes and warned us of the hot plates to definitely make sure we weren’t going to be idiots and touch them, lol. She was extremely thoughtful and hospitable, learning that it was our anniversary dinner so she decorated our table with some sequins and gave us a dessert on her while singing us a cute little tune. Hands down the best service we have ever had. The steaks we ordered were the TBone steak and the bone in New York strip, which we ordered medium. It came out sizzling hot and when cut into the middle it looked medium rare but because the plate was so hot we were able to get to finish cooking to the medium we wanted. The flavors of the steaks were so good! We didn’t even need the steak sauce. Just the salt and butter. The sizzling crab cakes were awesome and were all crab meat, no fillers and were sweet and savory, ugh I’m drooling thinking about them. The creme brûlée was a great recommendation and finished the dinner off well as it was light and refreshing from the fresh berries. I want to go back and not just for only a special occasion but when I’m craving a good steak. Thank you Kathy and thank you Ruth’s Chris!
The whole staff were professional and polite. We must say, Brian, our waiter served us with grace, style,, and flair. Just an affable and and congenial atmosphere. If you want great food and first class service, look no further. Ed Seaver Vinuesa
I love this place because the gentlemen was so nice and caring. The food was delicious and it’s no telling about what the food would look like and how it taste. The man deserves nothing but the best. However the service was excellent. The Birthday Queen looked so beautiful. Today was her birthday so she deserves a birthday meal. Thank you for the food and the service that you provide us. I’ll be back soon! Have a good night.
Solid choice for a steakhouse. The quality of the meat was superb. The steak came out perfect temperature. Sat around the bar in the booths. Very intimate and private booth. Started with a margarita and a coconut margarita. Very strong and delicious. For appetizer we ordered the shrimp cocktail. Big juicy fresh shrimp with a nice spicy cocktail sauce. We ordered a lettuce wedge with blue cheese and split that. The lettuce wedge was perfect because the blue cheese wasn’t overpowering. Ordered the New York strip steak and porterhouse. Amazing no sauce or pepper or anything needed. For sides we ordered lobster Mac and cheese. Also ordered the sweet potato casserole. The lobster Mac and cheese was perfect and the cheese on it was not too heavy and delicious. Get the sweet potato casserole. Trust me it’s the best thing For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and bread pudding. The chocolate cake was more like a cheesecake made out of chocolate. It was the essence of chocolate. Amazing! The bread pudding was very good as well All in all the food was amazing and will definitely go back
My husband took me to Ruth Chris for my Bday dinner along with my toddler. So the bad experience started from the entry point. They had an issue with the stroller, which we had absolutely no problem leaving by the closet. They were going back and forth to see if there would be high chair for her. It’s just how they reacted was not welcoming at all. Once we got to sit the waitress had an attitude. Mind you my go to spot for steak has always been Peter Lugers. Anyways it was our first time here and she was not helpful. Instead a minute in she wanted us to order and I was just trying to settle down. She rushed us to order. We get the starters then we waited so long until the main course arrived. The steak was overly cooked. Like literally was a rubber. We personally did not enjoy our dinner, did not feel like this place is kid friendly and overall awful experience.
Sigh! Where do I begin?! Well....I went here a couple weeks ago to "celebrate" my birthday. Firstly let me say; you will have better luck winning the Mega million before you get an answer on the phones here. I should've taken that as my que to go elsewhere, but alas I persisted based on my friends raving about this place. Our server was lovely, however everything else was up in the air. They're doing renovations and the place is an eyesore. Ibwas determined to have a lovely birthday so, I paid no mind to it. I felt for Lamb chops, but was highly disappointed as it was not done to my liking. I sent it back and got the Sea bass which was scrumptious. The manager had major ATTITUDE when he came to ask why I'm sending back the lamb chops smh. They even billed us for it!!! Safe to say I won't be going back or recommending here to ANYONE!!! Go where you feel appreciate and welcomed.
