Five stars are not enough to rate the quality and taste of the food served here! Cherie' is both chef and server of some of the best food I've ever eaten. Now serves supper on Fri & sat evenings, check the photos for times. Home baked pies too!!! She always has time to stop by your table to ensure your food was good.

The Rye cafe's slopper beat both the #1's In Pueblo! Man it was supreme! A must eat!!

If you want a novel experience, the Rye Cafe is the place to go. Simple home cooked meals the way momma made em! Best gravy this side of the Rockies! Step in for home cooking as close to the farm as you can get!

We had the grass fed burgers and grilled cheese with tomato! Oh and a sweet pickle that my son can't stop talking about! So yummy! Kids and family loved it! Traveling through and hiking around Lake San Isabel and were worried because the lodge was closed for the season and we were out of food! Came out this way to find a gas station, but stumbled upon this lovely place instead, and so glad we did! Great food, great people, and beautiful scenery! Definitely check this place out!

What the heck!? This place is great.... The sandwiches are satisfying and flavorful, the staff are friendly and treat you like family when you come in. Of 3 different sandwiches, quality was picture perfect and tasted as good as it looked. I am blown away by this place, tucked away in a mountain town. It is a destination for us now.
