Got the recommendation through a Spanish travel IG. We were not disappointed at all. We got a mac n cheese each and it was so good that we ordered a third one to split. The place itself is a bit dingy and you order through a computer and they just bring you the food. Human interaction was minimal. The food though… WOW!Food: 5/5
Got the sampler. It was excellent. Price and serving size was good. Cheesey, creamy, good flavors to choose from. My wife got the all American. Kind bland but good for kids who it’s recommended for. Definitely coming back. One of the best Mac and cheese places.
Oh. My. Goodness. Seriously, some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Lots of options - meat and vegetarian. Pro tip: look at the skillets hanging on the wall behind the kiosks you order at to tell the sizes. Then size down one. It's very filling! We came on a Friday at 8:30 pm and it was busy but we were able to find a seat quickly.
I love Mac and cheese so this was excellent!! The sampler is such a good idea. It's expensive but worth it. I'd love to go smack a whole pot of this down. Some great flavours. Friendly staff tooFood: 5/5
This place was so cool, you come in and order on a tablet and then grab an open table and a table number and sit. They had great music and the food was so good y’all. Some good vegan Mac and it is hard to make vegan Mac good so my compliments to the chef! I definitely recommend it to my fellow vegans and I’m sure the non vegans will love it as well because cheese is delicious lol. Go if you haven’t already! Vegetarian options: They have only one vegan Mac and cheese but you can add things to it, I added spinach and garlic.
After stumbling across smac on the internet during my 50th birthday trip research, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot. Despite almost not going due to tiredness, we were blown away by how delicious the food was at smac. The chef's creation exceeded all expectations of what great macaroni and cheese should taste like., hands down! And a big shout out to our server Ty he was awesome even gave us pointers on where to go next
I love visiting S'MAC when in NYC! There's something to be said for a joint that does one type of thing and does it exceptionally well. Every dish is made from scratch and served still bubbling in its own cast iron skillet. If you love mac and cheese, you won't be disappointed! Vegetarian options: I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian and gluten-enabled, and love the Parisienne and Masala versions. There are also regular, low-carb, multi-grain, and gluten free options for elbow macaroni, plus lactose-reduced and vegan options for the cheese sauce both use coconut milk as a base. Breadcrumb topping is optional. Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love mac and cheese? My kid gives it two thumbs up.
Great Mac & cheese. Restaurant setting is a bit odd. You order on a kiosk then you walk thru some curtains to pick up your food or sit down. It takes a bit to get the food and when you get it it’s too hot to even taste but delicious. I made my own Mac & cheese with ground beef, olives, mushrooms and cheddar/pepper jack cheese. I could only taste the olives tbh but it was great!
I love when people choose one thing and decide to master it. This is elite level comfort food. All plates come with a side of itis. Cheese blend is on point pasta cooked al dente. Elbows carry all the seasonings and cheese perfectly.Food: 5/5
We have been coming here for awhile when craving mac n cheese and it never disappoints! I usually get the 4 cheese but they have a lot of options and you can even make your own. The nosh size is usually enough for me but if you’re really hungry or want leftovers I would get a larger portion. They offer quite a few drink options even beer, wine, and cocktails. The ordering process is really easy, we have gotten both take out and dined in and the food is always consistent! If you want something sweet after the chocolate chip cookies are also pretty good from here!
