That's kind of like going in for your 100,000 mile check up and telling them to just change the oil. You should have asked for just the oil change. I've been going to Dr. Sabine since... well... let's just say a long time. I think her communication skills are excellent and she is to the point. If you are looking for someone to sugar coat your results... she may not be the right person. Personally - I want it to the point... it's my health we're talking about. Dr. Sabine's staff is AWESOME. Her assistants really couldn't be better. I'm not too sure about the secretary as it has been a different girl several times I have been in.

If you have insurance that will pay for whatever your heart desires, then this doctor might work for you. I went in stating I was there for an annual well visit and that I was on a high deductible, consumer-driven insurance plan and very sensitive to cost. I don't think doctors in general are informed about how this works. They don't seem to know or maybe just not care what's included in preventative visits and what is not included. They ordered two blood tests that were not included in preventative care without telling me that's what was happening and then charged me for a diagnostic visit as well. The visit ran me over $440 and the office doesn't care to make any accommodations in my favor. This seems pretty typical of other offices as well but I still will never go back because of the terrible experience I had.
