Even played a happy birthday song for my husband and provided the desert at no cost to us!!!Very affordable cosy restaurant will be visiting again!!
Outstanding service by Miguel, great Dominican food, authentic, good dance music and karaoke. Had a great time every time we go. Highly recommended for those who like a Latin experience.
Food is very tasty and not expensive. Nightlife is pretty good, liked the atmosphere. I recommend getting there before 10 PM if you want to grab a seat at the bar, since the place is popular it tends to get crowded. Music was great, bartenders were very attentive and friendly!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
We ordered several items from Sabor translated as Flavor Latino, as a take-out. We were quite satisfied with our food. The menu is extensive, with tons of different appetizers, soups, and main courses. The prices are rather low and inexpensive. The restaurant is located in the Liberty St area, about one minute drive from St. Francis Hospital. It servs good quality Dominican, Guatemalan, Costa Rican, Mexican and American food. Everything we ordered was really good. Our OCTOPUS SALAD/ENSALADA DE PULPO was served as a very big portion. Our SHRIMP TACO/TACOS DE CAMARON were delicious, flavorful and juicy. And, finally, the main course, CHURRASCO/SKIRT STEAK was gigantic, served in a tray, with French fries and fresh veggies. The only suggestion for the restaurant would be to wrap and package its food in a more heat-keeping and better insulated way. Other than that, very positive experience. Highly recommended.
Awesome, place to come enjoy Hispanic food with great service and attention to details. Food tasted delicious and the music made the atmosphere even more lovely. Thank you to all staff .
We walked in and it was empty, no vibes. The restaurant owner or waiter was extremely impersonal, looked like he never waited a table in his life. My girl ordered a drink and it never came, so then we ordered our food and waited some more, her drink still never came; so then we wave over at the waiter from across the room and make a hand motion signaling “her drink” and he looks at us shakes his head and double taps his temple indicating “oh yea I forgot”. So he finally brings the drink and meanwhile we are waiting almost an hour for the guacamole, to which point my friend asked where our food is… he said it’s almost done. Food came out, chips in the guacamole were stale, the chicken has a bunch of chewing pieces that didn’t taste fresh at all, and my friends plate was extremely dry and tasteless. We then asked him for ketchup Mayo, and he said he will be right back, we watched him tend to other customers and then after came back to us and asked if we need anything.. and we were like… “ketchup Mayo…” and again he knocked his forehead intending “whoops I forgot again!” Lol this guy was a mess and super awkward and ungrateful as a waiter, when he dropped the salsa and chips on the table he dipped his thumb in the salsa gross! idk man food here is decent but the service was trash. I won’t come back to eat here again.
Had an early dinner here for the first time; I've only ordered delivery in the past. There was no one else seated to eat but they did have people at the bar and deliveries were being picked up, so they were busy. We were greeted and sat immediately. We ordered the empanadas as an appetizer one of each kind: beef, cheese, chicken...they were good and served with mayo ketchup. I had the fried pork chops, yellow rice and sweet plantains maduros... It was served with a small salad as well. Everything was cooked well...I enjoyed it! The waitress was very helpful with my to-go order as well they give you a lot of food. Please be aware that 15% gratuity is automatically added to your check if your order is over a certain amount no matter how many ppl are in your party. I also was informed they have happy hour for certain drinks 2 for $10 per person/cannot be shared Mon-Thurs starting at 4pm
Dinner and service was excellent. The atmosphere and food was authentic and reminiscent of my childhood in Puerto Rico. Miguel tells me they have a new chef and their food was 10/10. I highly recommend them for good quality Caribbean food. the owner is Dominican but they menu covers all of the Caribbean. Delicious, we will be back again! We recommend the paella for couples and families.
Went there today for the first time and had some lunch. The place was really nice, good music, and good food. I will definitely go back. Good spanish food and some American food as well. I had the mofongo with a T bone steak. My server was Jessica and she was also great! Parking: On street free parking only but there was plenty of availability.
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tested great! Highly recommended
