Story

Sachem Public Library is one of the largest school district libraries in New York State outside of New York City. The Library has a long and rich history.

The library has so much to offer. So many programs for children, teens and  adults. Beautiful outdoor garden.  So many places to sit down, relax, read a good book. Nice cafe with awesome coffee and snacks. The teen room is perfect for teens - there is so much they can do . The staff for the most part are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I love this library!

Winner Best Library on L.I. 3 years running, and denominated for this year's award AGAIN!
All the media you'd expect, plus current movie showings, multiple classes including computers, 3D printers, yoga.   Live music and play performances, outdoor events in their gardens, and a nice cafe adjacent to the large comfy-chair magazine area.

I like this place because is peacful, you can read wherever you want. In the teens room there is a 3d printer, you can watch movies, you can play in the computers, etc. This is the best library I've ever seen.

This is the best library that I have ever seen. It's always well stocked and clean. The best part however is the people that work and volunteer there. They are always ready to help with a smile.

This is one of the best libraries I've been to. It's very large, always very clean, the staff is helpful, many sections for adults, a large section for kids with books as well as toys and puzzles and computers. Just fantastic.
