Story

Since 1996, the art and lifestyle of tattooing has convinced me that not only are we a true family of people, but we are our own tribe.
We have taken a stand against the normal venture of living life the way non-tattooed people see it, and we have trained our sights on becoming who we really were meant to be.
We change the way we look for many reasons, but ultimately we admire and appreciate more what we see, through these changes.
We become the thing that should not be, and in this we find our Sacred Body.

Welcome to Sacred Body, a Tattoo Gallery. A home for those who have in their hearts the need to be freed, the desire in their minds to see between the dark spaces,
and now the ability, with our artists help, to become the one you long to be. Welcome.

It is our goal to promote safe, practical and realistic boundries when deciding to change the way we look. We will constantly strive to become more knowlageable, and
more critical about our selves as we help our clients journey into this new venture. Our acceptance of you is based on your acceptance of us. We will be there for you
not just during your procedure, but for as long as you wear your tattoo or piercing. You will find that each of our staff has been schooled in the arts, has trained under
hospital guidlines, understands that all OSHA requirements are met, and can at any time show you his or her qualifications from those schools and training programs.
We can proudly say that we go well beyond the states requirements in all areas for all procedures that we perform.

We have the most experienced artists, and body piercers in New England, each one specifically picked for his of her specialties and form of art, by Mickey Scalzo.
Our staff are tattoo artists and body piercers, but also painters, sculptors, metal workers, and craftsmen. We are old art and we are new art.
We will not allow anyone with less than 5 years of studio experience to work for our establishment, and again we pride outselves on being part of this.
We have no fear of working on each other, and you should have no worry about who you work with inside our gallery.

Our pride will most certainly show through when you meet, speak and ultimately decide to become someone new, the real you.
