I had been a patient of this office for over 20 years. For whatever reason I have not been in for an appointment in years. I called to make an appointment and was greeted pleasantly. Since I knew I hadn't been in a while I knew that I would have to be treated like a new patient. When I told the person in the phone this and gave her my insurance information, her attitude immediately changed. My medical insurance is now Blue Cross Complete, which is a Medicaid program. She spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner. She asked me who I had been seeing and when I told her nobody she sucked her teeth and sighed in an annoyed manner telling me "yes you have". I told her no I hadn't seen anybody regularly just urgent care occasionally. She said "well you haven't been here so you must have been seeing someone" and I politely corrected her. Throughout our conversation she kept making it known that "we don't accept all patients". So I called the next day to tell the office manager and she was VERY dismissive. I told her what happened and she said she would tell them and proceeded to hang up. I had to catch her before she hung up and ask her if she even knew who I was talking about because she didn't ask one time my name or the person who I was complaining about. The whole experience was very unprofessional. I am considering even taking my children to a different doctors office.
