The Safe Harbor team and Chung Wong helped tremendously with my international tax questions. They answer promptly first via a detailed email then conducted a WebEx meeting with me and was very generous with their time. I had a few complex international tax questions. Trying figure out how to be compliant with both United States and Europe tax laws. I reached out to over 10 other CPA’s and Tax Specialist across the United States and they mostly just back to me with short answers, a big upfront cost without even speaking to me or they could not help at all because it was above their knowledge. I would recommend anyone that has a tax questions or issue to speak to Chung and his team. The interaction was great and got all my questions answered with additional information and consideration from the team at Safe Harbor.

A CPA is a person who really knows accounting and that's what Chun and his team are at Safe Harbor CPAs. They know accounting and tax and all that non-fun stuff. I called in for a consultation and learned that they weren't necessarily the best fit for my tax needs in San Francisco. Oh well. But I explained my tax problems and issues, and they gave me some friendly advice and a referral to one of the "big box" accounting services available in the Bay Area. The customer service of an organization that helps you even when you are only a prospect really meant a lot to me. Thank you Safe Harbor.

A CPA That Listens. It's hard to find one - you know, an accountant who will actually take your phone call, meet with you in person, and then - ultimately - help you with your business or personal needs. We have a small San Francisco business that's been around for over twenty years but we're transitioning to new ownership. Plus we have some international tax exposure and the requirements are very onerous for compliance - if you have property as we do in Canada, then you have to file what is called an expat tax return. Needless to say you have to get a tax return done and they do it. We're very happy.

Accounting and taxes are never ever fun. What's worse is if you are an "expat," that is a person who is from Canada but lives and works in the USA. Welcome to the world of international taxation! Chun and his team are experts at international tax, including the so-called expat tax return problem. You have to not only have a USA tax person but one in Canada, and working together they can help you get your taxes filed, properly. It's really complicated, and not a service that just any San Francisco accounting firm can actually do without driving you CRAZY. So there you go. Taxes done, in two countries, and off to work.

Excellent accounting firm working in San Francisco. I'm not a high-powered business type, just a regular small business entrepreneur. But my taxes are complicated as I have exposure to International tax issues, overseas and all that. The staff at Safe Harbor CPAs were fantastic and led me thru the process of figuring out my bookkeeping, my tax liabilities, both over and underpayments, and then how to get on the ball each year so I'm not freaked out at tax time. I try to withhold enough so that I 'get money back' and in that way am never surprised. I am no longer afraid of the tax man!
