If you have been dreaming of a very special wedding, vow renewal, bridal shower, party, and don't know where to start, this is the place to be.  When you first walk in to the hotel, you get a feel of  "Great Gatsby" grandeur, with Chandeliers and ornate woodwork throughout.  The best part is that everything you need is here, You have numerous room options to choose from for your event, a place for you and your guests to stay overnight, a spa with numerous therapies and services, a lounge piano bar and so much more.  You'll actually be able to enjoy your guests in a smaller more intimate setting than you would get from the assembly line hotel chains.  I was clueless on how to plan my event and when I met Maria Touloumis Assistant Director of Catering, as corny as it sounds, my dream event came true.  She not only saw my vision, she was able to work within my budget, had excellent suggestions and made sure everything was executed to perfection.  Honestly, if you have an event and need an amazing place to have it, this is the place.  You'll be happy you did.                Andrea S.

My husband was visiting this resort for a conference. The room was okay. The bed was comfortable. The surrounding area was absolutely amazing. I arrived a couple days into the conference. Here is where we had an issue that was not resolved satisfactorily. My husband did not have cellular reception in his room, therefore when making business calls and calling home each evening he was charged. He did not know he was going to be charged and since we live in the state of Florida, definitely not $200 for phone calls. That was absolutely ridiculous. He went to the front desk to try to resolve the issue and they said they would look into it, but when we checked out, we were charged. Another issue I observed was a guest vomited in the hallway and it was left there for an extended amount of time (this happened Thursday, October 5, 2017). For health reasons, I would think it would have been cleaned up quickly. I know it was there for at least 2 1/2 hours. The smell was still there in the evening on Thursday and Friday morning.

Old facility, being kept up fairly well. Spa treatments expensive but the massage we had was very good. Three pools,one a resort pool very nice with ice bar/restaurant,two pools for spa one heated one not. Jacuzzi, steam rooms, sauna. Full spa offerings. Great pool bar some rooms have nice views. Staff is somewhat disorganized, some staff good some not so good.

I am never one to make formal complaints, but this deserves  mentioning. First, it was our first time going there and we called when we got there to find out the best place to park because there were fired trucks blocking the road and we couldn't get through. The lady was incredibly rude and told me they weren't responsible for the the fire department. Not a great first impression. We get in and are ushered from one desk to another to check in. Everything was very rushed. From check in to waiting for the massage. I felt like I was sitting in a doctor's office  waiting room. Not tranquil or relaxing at  all. The massage itself was average at best. Definitely not close to what I would expect from a place like this. By the time is I was done I needed another shower. My hair and body were full of grease even hours later. This has never happened to me before after getting numerous messages. Definitely will not be back.

Beautiful resort, however we were not super impressed with the hotel staff during our stay. It wasn't one particular issue. It was just several small issues that compounded. The staff never seemed to be fully on the same page. We would get different answers from everyone. Overall, it's a good location and beautiful resort, but the service left much to be desired, particularly for the price point.
