Normally, somewhat fast compared to other Safeways, but never get ice cream from this one. It will ALWAYS be hard as a rock and develop ice throughout it, or the lines will be 30 minutes long and will be a milk shake before you leave. This has just been my luck at this Safeway. I even see managers running around not helping the 12 + cart line which is left to one cashier after 11pm. The night stockers also take sadistic pleasure in making sure to block common items with the pallets. I've had three passes in a row where I went in for B/S Safeway chicken breast in the 3 lb packs and there is the Great Wall of "F off customer" stacked in front of the bin. Lovely. Hot bar food is very hit or miss, but if you catch it just after they make it, it's quite good. If you catch the 2 day old chicken tenders that are mixed in with the new tenders, then enjoy your card board. They also serve the Mac and cheese at 200ish degrees and is almost always scalded to the pan when we get some. Most of my gripes are operational procedures that need to be changed, and won't. It's out of the control of most of the employees from lower level management and down. I'll never hold it against them. Also despite my negative experiences, this is still the better Safeway in the area (the most polished turd?), and as being such, still my last stop after Costco and Walmart grocery. Thanks for being the best of the worst Safeway Crow Canyon.

There is a Starbucks inside the store, though the service can be slow doing peak morning hours. Additional items include bulk bins in the back of the produce section. They offer aged beef at the meat counter. No pharmacy at this location.

It's very close to my home. So it's very convenient to buy anything I need there. I enjoy shopping at safeway also because some of their deals are cheap with high quality, and the nice and clean environment as well. Oh, the most important point is, which is also the reason why my 5 years old daughter said safeway is her favorite market, they provide some special carts for children. They are like ambulance, police car and fire truck. Thus Children could enjoy themselves sitting in the carts while mothers are shopping.
