You know you're in Safeway when your electric cart breaks down in the middle of the store, when it's full of groceries. You know you're in Safeway when you spend 30 minutes shopping and 45 minutes trying to check out. You know you're in Safeway, when you ask the only checker to call for another checker on Saturday morning and she tells you there are no others. You know you're in Safeway when you want to talk with the manager of the store about the problems and he takes 30 minutes to respond. This store and its employees are sloppy and demoralized. They do a terrible disservice to the community and they should close. ASAP.

I love this store, but wished it was a bit less pricey and better stocked up which causes me to buy some stuff here and the rest at Fry's . If it was priced right and had the extra things I get at Fry ( like organic cream cheese, cheaper organic yogurt, grass-fed butter and cheeses, cheaper organic broccoli and cauliflower, cheaper organic kale, ), I would make this my main shopping place and save myself trips to other stores. I love the variety of meats and grass-fed cuts. So 4 stars for Safeway but I think this store would do much, much better if it was able to price-match Fry's prices.

The transformation of Safeway is incredible!! It is actually a pleasure just to be in the store. The lighting and displays are extremely attractive. Ir looks like the variety of products has increased. I love it!

Lovely decor, can get in and out pretty fast, can avoid the Walmart riff raff. Parking lot is a disaster, though.
