It's a Safeway in all the typical Safeway ways, which is a good thing. Prices aren't bad and it's always stocked up. However... they are CONSTANTLY understaffed. All the time. I've come in early in the day, I've come late at night, just to avoid long lines. Still get long lines. There is NEVER enough cashiers, they need to fix this. Otherwise it's good.

A good market with bakery, deli, bar, pharmacy, sandwich shop, amazon drop, and Starbucks. For my tastes it is too big and the prices are a bit higher than the other markets near by.

Nice big store with good product selection that is kept well stocked and organized. Another plus to it being a larger store, inside they have a US Bank with tellers and ATMs, A Starbucks and a Jamba Juice with a little lounge area with tables and sofas to sit and enjoy a coffee or smoothie. They have free WiFi too, which works pretty well now. I believe they must have fixed something recently because it used to not work very good. The signal is actually quite strong out in the parking lot which is nice because I'll use it when I pull up and still in my car. It gives me a chance before going in to shop to look through the 'Just For You' coupons I want to add to my card. Outside, there is a nice big lot to accompany the large shopping center so parking isn't bad. They also just opened a brand new Safeway gas station. It's very convenient, right off of 41st, and their price per gallon is usually lower than any other station in the immediate area, especially if you use your club card at the pump after making a shopping trip to the store. The gas at this station is also divided into two prices, which is always cheaper, usually by 10 cents per gallon, (of any grade, including Diesel) if you pay with cash or debit (as opposed to credit).

This is a good Safeway, probably the largest in the area, with a good selection of everything. They have recently added a gas station as well.

Just a heads up, if you don't find what you need here and decide to turn the cart to the corral outside, the wheels lock up at the door. That's understandable, but what is not is that the default reaction from the worker I dealt with was to brusquely rifle through my empty bags as I was a shoplifter.
