This is a decent grocery store that has a pretty good variety. The store doesn't look very big from the outside, but it is actually pretty large. They were a little short on checkers when we were there, so we had to wait a bit to check out and pay. As seems normal with grocery stores in Seattle, the parking is tight.

I actually like Safeway a lot. It's the store my parents went to growing up. This one has some issues that eventually made me say "Screw it, it's time to shop at Fred Meyer." One: the fruit has tons of fruit flies covering it in warmer weather. This is the only grocery store I've seen this happen. Two: it seems like no matter what time of day I went there, they never had more than 2 cashiers going at a time. What the hey?! It always added an extra ten minutes of waiting in line. 😐

Super convenient, well-stocked and clean. More cute indoor plants and decent cut flowers than you might expect! Even though Fred Meyer's my usual go-to, this Safeway is a great place to pick up items when I want to keep it a shorter trip.

This store is right behind our street and I lament the fact that it takes me less time to walk there then it does to get my items to the cashier. Easy solution... eliminate the 3 or 4 cashier stands that are never used and install a self-checkout area.

Lines can be really long and slow, but they have a good selection and are generally inexpensive.
