DO NOT BOOK WITH SAFEWAY. I had the worst possible moving experience. First, it's important to know that Safeway are not the movers themselves. They're simply the middle man who coordinates with moving companies, so they will be of little help in figuring out  pick up/drop off dates, dealing with any moving-related issues, etc. They charged me extra for everything including a "long move" because I was in an apartment they said they always charge apartments as long moves for some reason paying an extra $150. They pulled the truck right up to the front door where there was an elevator, and still charged me for a long move even though my apartment door was directly off the elevator. I was also charged for "additional items" not included on the inventory list, which were supposed to be on an updated inventory list, but they messed up so I was charged an extra $250, which I was unable to get back after countless calls. They will charge you extra fees every chance they get. If you try to get your money back, they will claim that you need to speak with the actual movers since they're just the "middle man". Do yourself a favor and book directly through a moving company. Safeway is awful.

The most pleasant experience I could have asked for. The move went as smoothly as possible. On time and wrapped all my furniture. They didn't stop moving once. I would recommend Safeway Moving Inc to everyone. Well done guys!

I work with Natasha at Safeway moving.  They are good upfront with answering questions, but once you deposit the money, they are non-existent.  I was told I could call her with any concerns or if pick-up/delivery had issues.  Since I deposited the money, they direct line has been disconnected and no more responses via email.  Also make sure you have everything in writing because the people picking up or delivering have no idea of what you spoke with at Safeway.  I had to show the contractors Safeway farms work out to the cost breakdown and what I owe them for pick-up.

A flawless move. On time and got right to work. The move came in within budget. The crew was very polite and respectful of my property. Nothing was damaged. All the supplies I ordered were delivered when promised prior to the move.

I was able to get a great price for my move. They brought their own packing materials and meticulously wrapped each piece of furniture with much care and delicacy without any rush. The guys gave amazing service.
