I have needed a lot of dental treatment over 10 years and I was able to get treatment done there in a breeze, no wait time, other than filling out my registration forms. It was convenient with all the specialist I needed in one location!! They didn't force any deep cleaning on me like the other dental offices I've been too. The doctor was very descriptive, she showed and explained everything to me on the flat screen tv that they have in the room. The staff was AMAZING! Especially the office manager, she makes sure that everyone is having a great visit before they leave the office. This office is definitely a place where I can bring my wife and children and know that they are in good hands. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY, THIS IS A DENTAL OFFICE YOU SHOULD GO TO!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I called to set up an appointment and luckily they had something for that same day. I thought "Wow, glad I am already an established patient in another one of their offices. That's why I was able to get an appointment right away". Boy was I wrong. I got there at 8:40am, only to wait for 45 minutes before being seen. Not only that, instead of telling me ahead of time, they made me fill out paperwork that was already current in their system. After waiting the 45 minutes, I had to wait another 455 minutes for the dental tech to set up everything. The room was freezing. She said it was because she needed to keep the fan on because she as going through menopause. Once the room was set up, I was stuck waiting another 20 minutes for the tech to finally get my x-rays. I was so tired of just waiting! Everything seemed to take forever! They ended up doing a full comprehensive review of my mouth and came to the conclusion that I needed 8 root canals, 8 crowns, 6 fillings, a mouth guard, and a very deep cleaning. In total: $11k. I was in shock! They were also unsure as to why I came in and didn't want to get my cleaning done THAT DAY. I said I was overwhelmed and needed to go home. I scheduled an appointment for the next day to speak with the assistant office manager to discuss my treatment plan and why she wanted to charge me $50 dollars for toothpaste and $30 dollars for mouthrinse, as well as why they wanted to upgrade the crowns for an extra $350 each. She also told me the amount on the treatment plan wasn't right for the root canals because it's competitive and could be anywhere from 300 to 350 each. I came in the next day, waited AN HOUR, even after calling, just to speak with her for 10 minutes. This is not how I wanted to do business. I felt very uncomfortable in this office. I ended up going to another dentist for a second opinion - only 2 root canals/ crowns, 2 fillings, a deep cleaning, and a mouth guard (requested by me). Total for new treatment plan: $2k. Plus my new dentist made me feel very comfortable and the office staff was welcoming. Do NOT go to Sage Dental. They are only out to get your money.

I have had a major fear of the dentist since I was little, due to how much dental work I needed at a young age. I just recently moved to the area from NJ a few months ago, and needed to find a new dentist. I was directed here. Dentists in the past, are typically well aware of people’s fears of the dentist and try to make them comfortable. Here is a totally different story. My first visit was suppose to be a typical check up-cleaning that fit in with their VIP service. The dentist at this point was very sweet, and patient and understood my fear. I did not get the cleaning that day however, because I was told I needed a deep cleaning. I made the appointment, and accepted it. I went in for my deep cleaning, got a different person, and this dentist was rude beyond belief. I was terrified and she did not help that whatsoever. Instead, she made me feel bad about being scared, and continued to tell me I don’t know how to take care of my teeth. I know I need work, but I know how to brush and floss. Anyway, this woman proceeded to make me feel bad and was extremely rude the entire time and gave me a horrible attitude. The cleaning itself was the FURTHEST thing from gentle. I am now even more terrified to go to the dentist BECAUSE of this woman. She knawed at my teeth and gums so bad, that blood was nearly dripping from my mouth. I was obviously in pain, and she proceeded to tell me that I was “making it harder for her and myself”. Instead of gently flossing my teeth, she put the floss so deep into my gums, that when she pulled the floss out, it was covered in blood, and she looked disgusted. Hours later, it hurts to close my mouth. Also the prices are outrageous. The only reason I’m giving this place a 2 is because of my initial visit and how pleased the first dentist and dental assistant was. I wish I remembered this woman’s name. I would NEVER recommend this dentist to anyone ever. Especially if you have children who are scared of the dentist. Never again. I’m canceling any future appointments. Rude.

I have been going to this office for at least 5 years. Since the office turned over to Sage Dental, my new hygienist informed me that she could not perform a "normal" cleaning...she would need to do a "deep cleaning" because one of my molars had some excessive pitting along the gum line. I don't understand why a "deep cleaning" would be necessary for one tooth in question. And, as it turns out, my insurance does not cover deep cleaning procedures so I have paid several hundred dollars out of pocket. Something just doesn't seem right about this situation. After reading other reviews, I see I am not alone. I suggested I was going to get a second opinion about the condition of my teeth from a dentist my family has been seeing for 30 years. The hygienist explained that "corporate HMO dentists have stricter guidelines they have to follow so we are always going to treat aggressively. 'Small-town dentists don't know what they are doing." I don't even know how to respond to such a ridiculous explanation. Of course, everyone's dental situation is different.....I just think it's time for me to move on.

The office manager is very rude! I've called multiple times to speak to the manager regarding a concern and I kept getting pushed off, she's always "busy" with a patient and NEVER returns ANY of my calls. I finally went in today for my cleaning which was canceled. Very annoyed and will not be returning to Sage as a patient.
