A very nice, locally owned motel. 

Older but well maintained and clean. The room we stayed in was recently redone. I know that this is subjective, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable. 

Has a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Could use a coffee maker but coffee is available in the lobby, so it's not a big deal. 

Absolute bargain price. This will be the first place I'll try when in the area.

Pros: Checked in early and room was ready. Room was nothing fancy but clean and remodeled. Bed comfortable if you aren't "Princess and the Pea". No loud noises and were minimal. Staff nice and friendly. Price is great if you are on a budget. The pool is small but looked clean however the time of day we checked it out there was a padlock on the gate to get a closer look.  Cons: only one electrical outlet  in the bathroom and only works if the light is on. Shower is small and could use a better fixture to control water temp. Steps leading in and out of unit is low profile, short and easy to trip if you are very clumsy like me who doesn't get along with steps and stairs. So be very mindful and aware of them otherwise you may end up like me who missed the step, falls and ends up going to the ER to get stiches in your tongue and scraps up your face and knee.  I don't believe in rating a place poorly due to your own clumsiness. All in all...I would stay here again.

A great place to stay!!! What other place is there that the owner himself helps you out? Richard, the motel owner, personal helped me to check in early. This is the second year I have stayed at Moses Lake, Washington and I will choose to stay at Sage N Sand Motel every time. The room are spacious, and comfortable. The motel is in a quiet location with walking trails near by.

Horrible customer service. My card was charged for a room we never used, and we were not informed before we made our reservations that we needed a 72 hour notice before hand so my card would not be charged. Due to a family emergency, I was not able to keep my reservations, and when I called to calmly ask about what happened, I was spoken too very rudely and no help was even attempted. The rooms are exceptional, but the service and employees are not.

The room was clean, newly renovated, and cooled down quickly once the air conditioner was turned on. It was well priced and staffed 24 hours. I would recommend it to anyone staying short or long term in Moses Lake.
