Food was great. Chef brought his home made pho broth for us to try on the house with our Bánh Mì . Friendly staff. Westernized but delicious. Fresh. Decor and building looks sketchy.Food: 4/5
So good! Staff was friendly and quick, and gave me a heavenly sandwich without being too expensive can’t wait to try more of their menuDine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: No
My Vietnamese partner & I just stopped here for an early dinner on our drive from Portland to San Francisco. I was initially encouraged to see a 4.4 rating on Google maps until I noticed that every restaurant in Grants Pass has an average score over 4.0 on the app. We both had the beef pho #10 on the menu and dined in the restaurant. I also had a $4 limeade. We were very disappointed with the food. First, they did not have fresh spring rolls, they said because rice wrappers are unavailable. First we'd heard of that. The pho was made of a tasteless broth, and had a minimum sprinkling of chopped greens, with an ounce of Hoisin sauce, a few pieces of jalapeno, and half of a lime wedge on the side. When I asked for sriracha, they said that they have it but would have to charge us a $1. And unfortunately, the limeade was a weird sour berry mix that I couldn't drink and had to toss. After leaving, we ended up stopping by a fast food restaurant before we got back on the road. Sorry, guys, this was not a good experience, and we will not be looking to return.
I will preface this by saying that I am a vegetarian. This is for the vegetarian people in the area. Also, due to the fact that I had a limited experience i could not try their pho, I gave more starts than I normally would. The food was subpar and we had very small portions. The rice noodles my husband had could be summed up as terrible. Honestly, they weren't even trying to make this a decent dish. His plate consisted of a small amount of cold noodles, very few small pieces of tofu, some onions, carrots and cilantro, and most of its food had a bland taste. I took a sandwich which was somewhat better, but basically way under average. The staff is very busy basically they wrote they were understaffed. There are no sauces on the table, there are no extra utensils, I felt guilty even asking. We basically to go somewhere else to eat afterwards. I will not return to this place and I do not reccomend it to other people.
Kinda makes me wish I wasn’t a vegetarian. Just kidding, I’m a veggie for life but I’d love to try more of their menu. I had the rice noodles with veggies and tofu, no fish sauce. It was awesome. The fresh cilantro was delightful and the bean sprouts were crispy. The tofu was done perfectly; dense, flavorful and plenty of it. Staff was kind and gracious.
A small place that provides big time flavor! I got the beef banh mi dip special, which is regular banh mi served with broth for dipping and it was so good. Everything was fresh and the beef was seasoned expertly. The broth provided for dippng had a lot of flavor for something so simple and really added to the dish! I'll definitely be back to try the pho!
I just had the spring rolls and the beef pho, wow it was seriously amazing! Also I had a limeade drink so yummy. The gentleman that took my order was so sweet and polite,I will definitely be back. Thank you
MDH and I stopped on our way back from Medford to have one of our favorite meals, Pho tai, we were introduced to this most delicious soup in Colorado Springs, CO but have found that it varies widely across the states. I gave this establishment 1 star because of both the quality of the Pho and the customer service was ridiculously poor and the price was high. The Pho was not piping hot enough to cook the beef, the hoisin sauce was doled out in small 2 TBSP size to go containers and when they offered it only half full 1 TBSP my husband asked politely for more and she reluctantly said she could fill the container up, there was only chili sauce for sale, $1 for a small 2 TBSP container full. There was no sweet basil served with the Pho and the overall flavor of the broth was inferior, comparatively. The price for a bowl of Pho tai was $14.50only 1 size offered and for the pho tai and shrimp was $16.00. To the owner of this establishment, I can tell you you will not grow your business until you reevaluate your entire operation. My husband and I Love Pho, we would like to see every restaurant selling Pho be successful, but sadly we will not be returning to your establishment nor will we be recommending it.
Haven’t had anything else beside the chicken #1. But man is it amazing. The sauce they use on there is divine! Wish they would have some add ins to really create a bowl type situation. Maybe some cilantro, more carrots, nuts. But amazing flavors. Highly recommended.
We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. It was so good! We got the beef pho and ga nuong. The chicken in the ga nuong was perfectly spiced and cooked. The beef broth in the pho was really clean and flavorful. We got more to go on our way out : highly recommend!
