Beautiful, bright and open style "community focused" church.  Warm and loving Catholic community.   I came back to the church after being gone for over 20 years and I was welcomed by old and new faces alike without judgment or reproach.  The parish also has a wonderful youth ministry program and a summer camp that my kids look forward to attending every year (as I did when I was their age).

I am truly sad, disappointed and disturbed by today's encounter with St. Dominic Savio Church. I work 6 days a week, including weekends, thus it is really hard for me to visit the church as I was thought to and I would like to, but I do my best. It is harder when it comes to the confession, because this is usually held when I work. Today I visited the church as I wanted to attend the Mass and confess. I arrived at 7.50 am (they start at 7.45 am, and according to the website the confession lasts till 8.30 am), I took my place in a line. At 8 am the Mass started. It was my turn to go inside, when a priest (??? I am not sure, he was in shorts and scruffy t-shirt, his cellphone in hand) came out and said we cannot confess when we attend the Mass! I asked him what he wants me to do as I work, he responded come tomorrow. I told him this is going to be exactly the same, so what is the solution. He told me he was not going to argue with me, and asked whether I attend the Mass. I said yes, so he repeated I could not confess (the same repeated with other people in line). Then he asked me whether when I go to a party, I go back in order to return (frankly speaking I do not understand this comparison). I asked him again what is the solution for me, so he said again come tomorrow at 7.45 am, we have confession till 8 am, and now I have other meetings. I told him that the website informs about confession which starts at 7.45 till 8.30 am, and he answered "so THEY did not change it". All in all I fet like an unwanted guest. Frankly, I always thought the Church is like a welcoming community, especially in this special time of Christmas. Well, not this one. I have never felt so unwanted. Where is the spare seat for a guest?

I love this Church. It is so welcoming when you go in. It's not my parish,but if I work on Sundays. I am usually rushing to attend Mass after work there. Plus, I just love the music they have there! I walk in, and I can just  feel the difference in peace in me.

I was thinking it is just me. But I see more reviews with complain . Before you decide to participate in this church events, be careful to know that when you say that you have no money they will treat you bad and disrespect you. I made an appointment to discuss my daughter wedding day and everyone was nice to me. When I say that I don't have enough to cover the church expenses, Father Avelino walk away saying that he will call me back and he never call me back , after I left several messages. I use to follow this church for many years but after that I realize that it is only a business like others. The real Value is lost. Only money . Is this God? Money?
The staff is fake too 
They just pretend to be God people, but the only God they have is Money. 
I really hope that the church can have better members operating it
I really hope to have more support from others in my opinion with the same goal/ to have a church based of a real God , for the people, by the people

This is so disgraceful! The priest allowed the assistants to put "hate" at the guest. July 1st, 2017.  The Spanish assistant of the priest act with racism against an African American photographer and a Jewish photographer. This is not a Catholic Church, this is a cheap business. I'll keep away from this place family and friends. They are nice only when you go to reserve a day for your event . Other than that , the staff is so rude and inconsiderate. 
SHAME AT THIS POOR AND MISERABLE ORGANIZATION 
GOD IS NOT IN THE STATUES
SHAME you are a bunch of liers
