Another great weekend at Saks Retreat. Fish were biting.

Great views on the water, beautiful home, nice neighbors and 40 yard to the water! Easy to bring my boat up to the property and out to the water with a very nice marker system.  Meeting the owners was a pleasure. I will be back, we have it booked for July 4th week!

driving south down river oaks to Saks are incredible views of the Llano river, Packsaddle mountain and fancy airstrip. Watch for abundant wildlife at night, they might not be aware you're there. The Saks entryway is a casual four car drive way. Park the yacht and rv in its own space too. 
 Inside the house is room for family reunions or a cozy weekend for two. Large living room with seating fo 10 and big screen tv. Kitchen is a gem granite countertops and cabinets full of dishes pans and glassware. The dining table seats 8 outside patio table seats 6. Wood or gas grill.
 Look at the view and yor ready to shuve of on the water craft. Make shure your armed with coolers, life jackets and fishing poles. Fishing here is safe the water is cleanest anywhere. Best time for fishing for white bass is in early april. Otherwise bounce a torpedo jig off the rocks into the water. 9 times out of ten you fight a quatalupe spotted bass. End of the day cook your cleaned up catch at the Saks grill. Evening stars at Saks private fishing area and tiki torches make an end of a perfect day.  Kingsland Slab tomorrow?
