Easily the best chicken teriyaki I have had in my life. If you like chicken teriyaki then do yourself a favor and stop reading and start eating.
On Friday 4/29 I called in an order of sushi. My husband went in and gave them my order number and paid and came hone. When he got home it was someone else’s order. When I went back up there 10 minute drive I accidentally left the wrong order at home. I was rushing because I had already lost time dealing with this. The manager wanted me to pay the difference between the wrong order and my actual order before she gave me my actual order. I reminded her that the inconvenience alone should cover that. She wasn’t able to communicate well in English, but well enough to keep trying to get me to pay the difference. And not addressing the fact that it was their mistake and that I had to use time and gas to go back up there while my family was home eating without me. Oh and they wanted the wrong order back. I told them I accidentally left it at home in my haste. I don’t even eat meat so it’s not like I ate it. And I reminded them that the wrong order had been in my house and opened so it’s not like they could serve it to anyone else. But I believe that was their plan and it’s why they wanted it back. I didn’t pay the difference and I left without my actual order. .
My husband and I ordered beef and chicken dishes with extra meat for both and paid the extra charge. When we got home I opened my beef dinner and said that it did not look like any extra beef was added. When he opened his chicken, he indeed had extra chicken added. When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager said she remembered the order and gave the extra beef and chicken. I persisted that there was a big difference in the amounts. She then explained that since beef was more expensive she couldn't give as much extra beef. I then said that it makes no sense because you charged more, $3.75, for the extra beef than you did for the chicken, $2.25. For some reason she thought repeating that beef was more made sense but that I was paying did not register. Or more likely she didn't want it to register because it is totally illogical to charge more and think customers should understand getting less. Well I for one see through the ruse and they've gotten the last dollar from me and anyone else I know who might frequent that establishment.
I love eating at Sakura Hibachi food is always delicious and service and great.
So nice to finally have a Sakura in PG even if it is just an "express". The fact that it's only like 2 minutes from my house is a little dangerous, lol. The only downside is THE WAIT. Even if you call ahead you still have to wait in a line that goes out the door. They should have a separate area to speed that up some. It is supposed to be "express" afterall.
This place used to be good and tasty. We always got the chicken teriyaki. But these past few time we eaten there the food quality has gone downhill. Everything is bland. We used to get a lot of sauce with out chicken and noddles now it’s just bland.
Worst Sarkura i have ever been to! Rice was oily and soggy. I asked for chicken cooked well done and it was still soggy. I dared not take a bite. I also asked for no teriyaki sauce on top and they added it. Idk what type of sauce it was but it wasn’t even brown like any other teriyaki sauce I’ve seen before. My cabbage also tasted like it had sauce on it. I will not try this place again.
Excellent food, very welcoming employees, regularly awesome mood. They charge affordable rates and the food quality is fantastic. Keep up the good work.
Wow, I came here famished, expecting a decent meal. Boy, was I wrong. The food was Disgusting! Tofu was fried, yet soggy. It taste like water once you bite into it. Noodles were bland, the fried rice is too. If you’re looking to satisfy your tastebuds, please do not eat here!
Nice food and fair price, I will definitely come back again!
