There are not many redeeming qualities about this college to be honest. I transferred from community college and attended the university from 2011 - 2012. I became involved in an extremely emotionally turbulent personal situation toward the beginning of 2012 for which I went into counseling on and off campus. The counselor that I was seeing initially, Meredith, was inept and disconnected from my situation. I was finally transferred to a different counselor and overall the counseling experience at the university actually seemed to make the situation (and my depression) worse than if I had abstained from counseling at all. Because of the same situation I failed several of my classes. I met with the head of the department for one of the classes I had failed and he was surprisingly compassionate and understanding about the situation. Aside from my personal situation, the grounds of the campus are beautiful. The multicultural events are really something worth investing your time. When I attended the university they would award a cultural laureate award to those who attended a certain amount of multicultural events. On campus housing is hit or miss. Off campus housing, go with University Park over University Village...it is worth the extra money.

Loved this school. The campus is gorgeous, there's always something to do, and the teachers truly care about their students.

It's an alright University but be prepared to pay an exorbitant amount of extra fees. The bookstore is one of the most unorganized places I've ever been. Every semester I would order my books. Two weeks after my order, like clockwork I would receive half my order. The invoice would say there was a "problem" with the other half (not in stock, or some other lame excuse). Then they would inform me that I needed to reorder the books that were canceled and pay an extra shipping charge (rather than put them on back order) because my order took two separate shipments even though its their fault. Salisbury University is only out to separate you from your money.

Statistically speaking, the students here have the lowest IQ scores of any college in the country. So, if you get accepted here, you may want to think a bit about your life.

Some of the best memories of my life are at this amazing institution. I took many life lessons and made the most amazing connections.
