I HIGHLY recommend Jay or Terrence.

Update: My first review was 5 stars too! After a few years of going here Jay did haircuts, styles and coloring for a lot of people who were in town for my wedding. We blocked off a few hours with her. that attended my wedding and must have been some 10 plus people on one day. She did a knockout job. All the people here are incredibly friendly.

Salon Central has been my Salon for about 15 years. The whole staff is wonderful, friendly and very professional. I have been pleased with every stylist I have been to at Salon Central. I currently go to Michal, and before her, I went to her mother before she retired. 
I often recommend Michal as I often get compliments on my hair. She and the staff are always accommodating and friendly. They are the BEST. Laura Feldman

By far the best experience I have ever had at a hair salon. The staff is friendly from the moment you walk in (looking like a hot mess) and until you walk out the door (looking amazing). Kayla is awesome at color and highlights, I won't get my hair done by anyone else! I moved all the way to Baltimore City and still commute to this salon, it's worth it!!!

I have been going to Salon Central for over 15 years!  My stylist Mindy is phenomenal.  The entire salon staff makes the whole process such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This is a great reflection on the ownership and management.  Bravo Gail!

I went to Melody at Salon Central for the first time the other day. Melody gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had. She listened to me and did everything I asked for, and she did things I didn’t even know to ask for! Truth be told, the cut isn’t all that different from what I had, but it is updated and sophisticated, and she knew how to handle my thick, wavy hair that I straighten every day. The small differences she made make a huge difference in how I look and feel. Every time I see myself in the mirror I think, “Oh, my hair looks good,” (instead of “It will grow out in a few weeks…”). Thank you, Melody! 

The salon was nice, too. Clean, vibrant, and everyone was really nice.
