Kevin is a really nice person as well as an excellent hair stylist. You can count on him to never screw up your hair and always make it as nice as possible. He will color and cut your hair to perfection. Kevin even formulated his own line of hair products that make hair super soft and smooth. I am very pleased with Salon International and highly recommend it to everyone.

I wish I could give Kevin more than 5 stars! If you are looking for a place to get your hair done in Charleston, look no further! I recently moved to Charleston and did a lot of research on stylists that could not only do blonde well, but also that could specifically work with my existing extensions. Not only did Kevin learn a new skill to work with the extensions I already had (he had done something very similar before), but he did it without hesitation and was happy to work with me. Overall, Kevin is AMAZING! We talk the entire appointment and he always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. Kevin is funny, genuine, kind-hearted, and so much fun! I could tell as soon as we met that he truly has a passion for his work. Kevin is a true professional and VERY talented. He has only done my hair twice and I will be a client for life! I am blonde and have had my hair highlighted many times over the last 10 years. Without a doubt… Kevin left me feeling (and looking) the best I ever have. He listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly!! Not to mention this was the first time he had highlighted my hair - and he nailed it! I am so happy with the outcome!! His receptionist, Ann, is super sweet as well. She always helps me book my appointments and works with my schedule to accommodate me. Kevin is a perfectionist. He is amazing. You will not regret it!

This place is a gem. Southern hospitality you want in a pamper session with a professional stylist who leaves you feeling polished. Kevin is honest about what will and will not work for your face shape/coloring. Conversation keeps flowing. Anne- the women who runs the business side of things- is a joy. Prices are reasonable, just expect to pay with cash or check.

Kevin is hands down the best stylist in Charleston! When I first moved down here 4 years ago, I did a lot of research to find a hair stylist that I would be comfortable with and one who would best fit my needs; one who would listen and who would make the best recommendations to make me look and feel fabulous. The second I walked into Salon International, I felt right at home! I was comfortable and felt at ease knowing that I was Kevin's only client during my appointment. I was used to going to salons where my stylist had multiple clients at once so I would either feel like I was rushed or forgotten at times. Not at Salon International. When it's time for your appointment, it's all about you! Kevin has over 25 years of experience and is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair. He may not always agree with what you want, but he sure will compromise and make the best recommendation possible. If you're looking for a stylist who is top notch quality, honest and experienced, then you need to check out Kevin at Salon International!

First, let's start with talent. Kevin (the owner) has over 25 years of experience and is exceptional. Although I've been a client for several years now, each time I enter he sits me down and asks me how my last cut and color worked. He probes until he gets the absolute description from me - he truly cares and wants to make my hair the most perfect it can be. Then he delivers. Next, let's talk about the atmosphere - it is very personal, often with a one-on-one session. It is not a "factory" environment, similar to those of so many salons today. You are not passed from one person to the next for various steps, such as shampooing, coloring, etc. You don't feel "juggled around." I feel both Kevin and Ann (his receptionist) truly care about me and have become my friends. I found Kevin after having commented on a lovely hairstyle and asking the woman who cut her hair. I am so glad she told me about Salon International. In many ways, selfishly, I hesitate to share my "secret" with others, but Kevin and Salon International deserve the best rating and most business possible. I highly recommend Salon International!
