Great atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wyatt was able to tackle my difficult (long, curly, fine) hair with ease. Discount Wednesdays allow a spa experience on a budget!

What a fantastic experience! I felt so good leaving this salon and would come back in a heart beat! The salon is extemely chic and hip but not intimidating. The staff makes you feel super comfortable. Mr. Ladner was my stylist as well as the owner and he was amazing! His passion and excitement for hair made me feel excited about my own hair! I had a bayalage and cut which I am extremely picky about my hair and was over the moon when I left. No tears were shed except tears of joy! I watched the other staff cater to their clients and I could tell they too cared deeply about hair and their craft. Yes, yes, yes to this salon!!!

Best salon experience ever! Wyatt did a great job on my haircut and went above and beyond to style my hair. He introduced me to staff members and offered me something to drink. The atmosphere is relaxing and carefree. I also felt like Wyatt asked me about my hair and catered to shampoo/conditioner to meet my needs versus what everyone gets. I am sad that I am only visiting Ohio. Go here!

I've been to Laken twice, and another of their stylists once. I have loved my hair every time I have gone! They do great work with coloring, Laken did a bayalage treatment to my hair and it is perfect! I would highly recommend going to her. She is nice and really listened to what I wanted as the customer. The owner Josh is always around and does a great job of keeping it a friendly environment and making sure your needs are met. If I wasn't moving out of Dayton this would continue to be my go to salon!

I really wanted to love this experience, but it did not work out. My stylist (Jasmine) was over 30 minutes late getting to me, and it looked like other customers were waiting a long time as well. No reference or apology made for the obvious overbooking. I asked to have my hair colored to my root color, and cut to a simple style I've had before. After the first failed attempt at color and cut, the owner Josh took over. He did do his best to fix the cut and color, but it ended up way way darker than it should have (probably because they had to repeat the process). He managed to make the cut better, but it overall is shorter and darker than I asked for. I am disappointed at the lack of customer service I received from my first stylist, disappointed with wasting 3 hours of my time, and feeling even less confident than when I went in. But I will say the space is pretty, the wash room is cool, the owner really tried to make it right, and he did discount my service quite a bit. I still wish I had left when my wait time was approaching 30 minutes, and could have avoided this whole ordeal. I really do hope this is not the "norm" for them, because I'd love to see Mr. Ladner's business do well.

Edit: after washing my hair at home and trying to style it this morning,  I have literally never looked worse in my life. I am in tears. Not only is it impossible for me to get to the salon in the first place with a 3 month old, work, and 2 other kids, I now have to walk around looking horrendous for God knows how long before I'll be able to get this disaster fixed. It wasn't even worth the $50 and I regret tiping.
