Of course the atmosphere is A+ because the service is naturally warm & inviting. No complaints about their food. Overall, It Definitely Gives The Authentic Mexican Vibe! PRICES CAN NOT BE BEAT!!!
Taco Tuesday $1.25. If you’re in point Loma Great place to stop and get a fish taco just taco Tuesdays
Their serving size is huge but they cost less than other Mexican restaurants in town.
Was trying to find a decent cheap burger for some workers at my house. I thought I might be able to find a taco shop close by that also offered burgers. Based only on the double cheeseburger, this place is perfect. They do a very nice double cheeseburger with everything for under $4. I heard it's as good or better than In-N-Out, it's WAY closer to here, there's almost no wait plus, you can call in your order ahead, and you just can't beat that! I heard that the fries were not so good, but I don't think they ate them while they were still fresh, so I can't personally speak to that. We've been back again a few times now for the burgers, and have also recently been using the "carnitas TJ/street tacos" as our standard barometer to evaluate various local taco shops, and these were well above average among those we've tried. Their offering is $2.25 each with many different options, which is nice if you're by yourself, as some places only sell four mini tacos of all one kind only for $9-10.00, which is "standard", but a LOT of food for one person my wife and I usually split an order of four, and that's usually perfect. The size of the tortillas was as expected and were nice and fresh. The portion of meat was generous, and the carnitas were tasty and moist. There was enough onion and almost enough cilantro salsa fresca, lime wedges, [edit: they might have just forgotten the guacamole last time when I mentioned that they didn't use it] guacamole "sauce", and a bunch of radish slices for a garnish. Fortunately, it's very close to the house, so we usually take it home. Based on this, our one item yardstick, we will definitely be back to try more of the menu, as well as for the burgers we still need to try the other two burgers they offer. The place is old and funky right across the side street from another taco shop!, and the drive-through is set up "backwards" and the mic doesn't work so you have to drive to the window to order and pay, but it looks like an old family operation that has been there forever it looks like they cater as well as there's a food truck parked in the lot, and the guy that I've seen every time I've been there is just as nice and as friendly as he could possibly be. :-D Definitely recommend it! Parking: Decent, empty lot.
Love their ground beef burrito with all the fixings. Delicious food.
Very unassuming place with good prices and food is bomb! They have abuelita in the back cooking too so u know its fire Vegetarian options: Bean and cheese burrito
Salsa Brava makes home style mexican food.I tried many other shops, this place beats them all.I think it's family owned and my service has always been great.
This location is older family owned. The Cons. The drive through walk up outside menue is no longer correct. Prices have gone up. A machaca burrito at 8 25 way high. I purchased an order before. Take out. They forgot one of the carne asada burritos i paid for. I went back and they denied it. ...they have no business i wonder how fresh some items are.
I purchased 2 carne asada burritos. Cashier was the mother of the owner.. got my order walked off. Saw order was short one burrito. I went back and told her. She denied it. Showed her the receipt. She still denied it.
I love their Carne Asada mini tacos. They are so good and I can get them how I like. They never get my order wrong. It's quick service and they are friendly too. I like to stop there sometimes coming home from a bus ride when I don't feel like cooking dinner. You just have to go here. I'm sorry but it's much better than the other Mexican restaurant next to it! Go see for yourself. And try the mini tacos. They fill them with lots of meat unlike some places that go wimpy on the meat.
