Our daughter has been a dancer with SLC Ballet for two years. We really like the style and feel of this studio. Simone has made so much progress and I strongly feel it is the instruction coupled with her efforts that has allowed her to get to where she is now. Her confidence has grown since she started. The studio truly feels like a community and not competitive with each other. The environment promotes a positive experience. I would recommend this studio to a child, young adult, or adult if their interested in ballet.

I never thought such a place existed like Salt Lake City Ballet. Three years ago I decided to take a beginning adult class and I've been hooked every since! The teachers are amazingly talented, good communicators, take us seriously as dancing adults and are still kind, supportive and really pleasant to be around. They also have performance opportunities for the adults as well as the entire school (of course) and they teach the Vaganova method which emphasizes technique development first and foremost. I really enjoy this school and all of the teachers. They are wonderful! :)

It is a great school. Hands on. Ms. Terry is very kind and a wonderful instructor. I give the school all five stars, they honestly have their students best interest at heart.

I love this studio. We looked long and hard for a great ballet studio for my daughter and was so glad when I found one that taught technique correctly instead of just focusing on performing. I do have one complaint though. While I love Terry, I always feel like Miss Hillary is talking down to me. As an adult this is quite irritating. It almost seems like she feels my daughter and I are not good enough for the studio so she is justified to treat me like a stupid child. I am hoping this problem will rectify itself as I don't want to have to try to find another ballet studio again. We will give it another year and see what happens.

Thanks to Salt Lake City Ballet Conservatory, they are wonderful with all my kids even the ones not taking ballet. The girls I do have in class have been with them since the conservatory opened, they both are noticeably improving their ballet skills more & more every year. What I love about how they teach is the discipline with the kids & their focus on real ballet technique rather then just practicing for the performances all year like other companies if you think that ballet could be a life long thing for your child they will get the training they need at the Salt Lake City ballet conservatory! cindy gonzalez
