Didn't like the idea anything happy hour related had to go through the bar. We saw a Roach during our dinner and the staff were very accomdating.  The staff moved us to another table with no problem. The food was good I had the honey siracha chicken and KT was very tasty

Roy (waiter) provided one of the best dining experiences.  The manager personally insured the prime rib was seasoned and seared to perfection, then served it himself!

The waitress dawn was great and the food very tasty. Very disappointed that no manager ever came to our table, walked by 8 times but never stopped or spoke

First of all our waiter Aaron was awesome. He took care of our party of 13. Ok so my sister had a blond piece of hair on her food as soon as she got it. Her hair is jet black with braids. 
So when the manager come out to discuss and apologize. So I said take that off the ticket. He said that's all ready been taken care of. So she didn't get to eat with the rest of the family. So when we finished she still didn't have her food. 
So by the time we got our tickets to pay. Then her food came out with it on the ticket also. I was paying for her food and seen the ticket and asked for the manager. He said I took care of the other one but you have to pay for this. I said why should we have to pay for her food with the hair in it. He was rude about it so I sent the food back. I am a restaurant general mananager oversee 10 stores. I would never make my guest pay for hair in there food and make sure I take care of there ticket ands le sure they are taken care of. We will not be back but again Aaron was awesome. So was the other guy that helped me with our cake.

Went to this place to cap off what was suppose cap off a" Girls Day Out ", from being seated to getting our former of payments back was unacceptable. This place has never had good service, but I went along because I didn't want to be the Debbie Downer. The waitress obviously wasn't trained well, and used the excuse of being busy for the horrible service. I literally forgot that I ordered a drink because it took her so long to bring it. I ordered an appetizer thinking surely they can't mess this up, but I was wrong. They took forever with that too, other persons in the party food was cold or didn't have everything that they ordered. It took forever to get my credit card back for payment. It took them about 20 minutes to get change from a $20 dollar bill for another young lady in the party. The hostess pants were busted in the inseam and from the look of the pants she's worn them like that several times. I am a foodie and I wouldn't recommend Saltgrass on the the Louisiana Boardwalk to anyone. If you want great food and service,  go to Texas Roadhouse. But if you have to eat on the Boardwalk , I'd recommend Joe's Crab Shack, Cheesecake Bistro, Hooters and even IHOP. I only gave this place one star to make this comment,  it doesn't deserve that.  I'll never visit this place again, no matter what!
